One of my Twitter friends asked me for this video and since I had saved it for posterity, I am posting it up again!

Enjoy the hotmessness of SopeHarmony as he sings in the key of A-Mess HAHAHAHAHA.

This poor child has retired from the internet I think…I never found any more of his “material”, though I haven’t tried lately either. No thanks, I will stick w/ Jay-Z’s off key singing at the beginning of “D.O.A.”!

Nas & Kelis Headed For Splitsville, Sad.

Written by The IPS in Blogs on May 1, 09

Amid rumors that have been swirling for a while, official papers were uncovered by Vibe signaling that this is truly the end for Nas and Kelis’ marriage. She is 7 months pregnant, and has accused him infidelity and verbal abuse.

Nas has not released a comment as of yet.

I hate reporting on these things, because I feel like karma is gonna come back! But, to cast a lighthearted humor over a terrible situation, I said on Twitter that I guess Nas must have been lactose-intolerant like the rest of us negroes (spoiledmilkshake). Wamp. I know, I’m lining up for my spot in hell as we speak.

I wonder what happened…just goes to show you you NEVER knew what is REALLY going on.

File This Under: Cassie, Island D*ck, Looney Tunes

Written by The IPS in Blogs,Celeb Snapshots on Apr 11, 09

Can you guess who this is? No it’s not the dude from the Black Eyed Peas. No, it’s not some “indecisive Filipino tranny” as I saw someone say on a message board…

Cassie done fell into a pool of “Bad Boy this, Bad Boy that” and chopped off half her hair. I can’t, never will be able to, and shouldn’t have to!

She was on Twitter talking about she made a change and it reflects her within, blah blah blah. If she start putting out punk rock beezy music, I will officially quit Bad Boy, not that I’m not already on the edge with this Que/Making The Band/bitchassness mess already! Either Diddy got that good island d*ck that Lauryn Hill is afflicted with or this is a cry for help & a bigger styling budget for her new “album”.

      More after the jump.

      Video: Flo-Rida – “Right Round”

Written by The IPS in Videos on Feb 24, 09

I really have no love for Flo-Rida. I mean, he’s nothing but a bootleg Twista with muscles and a quickly vanishing hairline. I really hate that he just destroys this 80′s classic as well.

I want him “Dead or Alive” for this atrocity!

And this joint shot up the Billboard charts last week too! WHO IS BUYING THIS!?

SHOW YOURSELF SO THAT I CAN EGG YOU!

Flo Rida breaks his own record for most weekly digital song downloads as “Right Round” debuts at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart with 636,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The total smashes the mark he set with “Low” (467,000) in the January 12, 2008, issue, which took into account sales from that season’s post-Christmas week. The tally for “Round” also surpasses the opening-week download record set just last week by “Crack a Bottle” from Eminem, 50 Cent & Dr. Dre (418,000).

On the heels of its record-breaking sum, “Round,” which is based around Dead Or Alive’s 1985 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record),” will move 58-1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart to be posted tomorrow (Feb. 19) on Billboard.com.

The track will be Flo Rida’s second to top that list, following “Low” which spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1. “Round” precedes Flo Rida’s second Poe Boy/Atlantic album, “R.O.O.T.S.,” due April 7. (Source)

      I shan’t. Why? I guess a hit is a hit, but really?

Snoop Dogg + Paris Hilton Freestyle = LIFEFAIL

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Feb 19, 09

Personally, Doggy Fizzle Televizzle was the shiznizzle (LOL), but this mess right here!? Please dial-my-heart up to “attack” status because Snoop is tossing his creditability (the little he had left, really) out the window faster than Beyonce’ secretly scarfs down Popeye’s two pieces!

Paris Hilton…why haven’t we shipped her off to some island already!? Her saying the word “thug” made me want to go outside and hit somebody in the throat. Just because. UGH!

Snoop, seriously, get lost in Compton again for 3 weeks. Film that and put it on MTV. We’d care more.

And really, didn’t Paris get the memo that that “-izzle” mess died like, 2 or 3 Snoop albums ago!? The things nikkas do for a check.

T-Pain On Your iPhone, And Not Via Ringtones…

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Feb 11, 09

      T-Pain

It’s official — the “T” in T-Pain stands for “traveling” pain, because now you too can sound like Faheem Najm on the go!

The people who created “AutoTune”, Antares, have linked with him to create an iPhone app that will continue to cause everyone and their mama to think they too can be music stars.

Maybe he made Ciara’s “Go Girl” with this app in its testing stages? LOL! Roger Troutman is about to raise up from the grave and strike all these negroes with the Black Death. Or…that is what I pray for.

At the end of this now-boilerplate “Intro to Auto-Tune for Frightened Boomers” story in Time is a small glimpse at a future in which drunken phone fights with your ladyfriend can precisely replicate “808s & Heartbreak.” T-Pain and Antares are collaborating on an Auto-Tune app for the iPhone, with which you can use the company’s vocal-transforming software to pitch-shift your own voice via cellphone.

Georganna Drayton, chief operating officer of Antares, confirmed in a phone conversation that Antares is currently negotiating the rollout and programming of the application, which she says will “use our software and T-Pain’s beats so you can make music on the iPhone.” Drayton doesn’t expect that it will integrate with your iPhone calls, so all you kids hoping for a future in which a day spent hunting for Greek food in the mall turns into an icy, pitch-corrected R&B hit will have to hold off awhile yet. Diddy Can’t Get Enough Reality TV

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Aug 11, 08

      Cheri Dennis Mug Shot

So you think you have what it takes to sit on the shelf at Bad Boy, polishing Diddy’s Grammy’s and getting coffee for Harve Pierre? Would you like to work in the Bad Boy tape room while less talented “better looking” people get their come-up?! OK then, well, Diddy has ANOTHER chance for you to be ignored in the annals of pop music history!

Only people with low self-esteem and high thresholds for pain and embarrasment need to apply. Current and past Bad Boy artitists are ineligble (Sorry Cheri Dennis, we love you though! Put some elbow grease into mopping that floor!).

I Want The “Sex Machine” Belt Buckle, Ya Heard!?

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jun 11, 08

      James Brown

LOL, man, his family couldn’t have kept this stuff in their posession!? We can’t have a James Brown museum?! Dang shame. Tell Tomi Rae to get it together and quit having tea parties with Teena Marie! I’m saying.

Fans of James Brown will have a chance to own some of the legendary soul singer’s funky stuff when Christie’s puts hundreds of items up for sale on July 17.

The auction house said on Tuesday it will sell some of his instruments, hand-written lyrics, awards and grooming artifacts among 320 lots to be offered at “The James Brown Collection,” estimated to take in about $1 million.

A leather belt with a red-and-silver rhinestone buckle reading “Sex Machine” [FIERCE! - IPS] and tooled “We Love You James, Blue Express” is seen fetching $2,000 to $3,000.

Among the highlights are Brown’s Kennedy Center Honor from 2003 ($10,000 to $15,000) and his 1986 Grammy Award for “Living in America” ($15,000 to $20,000). His jumpsuits, many priced around $5,000, are grouped with other clothing in the sale catalogue by color. (Source)

Quick!! Someone call Usher and tell him to snap up one of those jumpsuits! Maybe it can revive his career if he wears the buckle and the jumpsuit and performs in Vegas? His album dropped 67% this week. Ouch. Him wearing a jumpsuit would have made the “Moving Mountains” video THAT much more interesting. ALREADY!

I got to get my hands on that belt buckle before Norwood Young or Bobby Brown try to throw in their lot. That must be hanging on my wall before the end of this year. And how!

I don’t know about ya’ll, but I think I’mma go buckwild and blow my whole stimulus check! Just doing my part to help the economy!

Lil Wayne & Juanita Bynum Should Tag Team!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on May 15, 08

      Lil' Wayne

Let me find out The Chocolate Goblin is trying to get in on that Paul & Jan TBN money!

Lil Wayne has spoken. According to the Mayan prophecies that he’s been studying during down time on his tour bus, the world as we know it will cease to exist in four years. He tells Blender magazine: “The world is about to end in 2012… ’cause the Mayans made calendars, and they stop at 2012. I got encyclopedias on the bus. The world is about to end as we know it. You can see it already. A planet doesn’t exist – there’s no more Pluto. Planes are flying into buildings – and not just the Twin Towers. Mosquitos bite you and you die. And a black man and a woman are running for president.” (Source)

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *cougs up lung*

Well, when we told our people to go “R-E-A-D-A-B-O-O-K!”, I guess Lil Wayne got drunk off of some syrup and got lost in a Borders. I didn’t think he’d go from “Green Eggs & Ham” to Mayan Theology. Baby steps Wayne, baby steps! Someone sit this fool down! If he was a regular person like your brother or cousin, he’d be the one with the helmet who they only let out the room for family holidays and gatherings, ugh.

I think Juanita Bynum and Lil Wayne should crank that TV evangelist money! I could see it now — Wayne getting his prophecy on like the crazy hood preacher and Juanita spinning in her chair Rev. Alicia style speaking in tongues! Can we add this lady and her singing group as well?
