    • LL Cool J’s “Exit 13″ Cover Artwork

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jul 31, 08

      LL Cool J Cover Art

Spotted this over at Nah Right — I know LL Cool J is supposed to be this great historical rapper and all but quite honestly, I’d rather he just CEASE & DESIST. That “Baby” song makes me blow metal chunks. The writing is just TERRIBLE. I mean, really, WTF! And the sad part is he KNOWS better!

This artwork is cool and “full of meaning” and thangs, but who cares when the album it’s representing is going to be terrible?! Maybe he should have quit 13 songs ago! LOL.

Ladies, sorry to disappoint you. No LL naked body on this joint. I suggest you go bust out your “Right On” posters from 1983 anyway or something.

Isn’t His Album Dropping Soon Though?

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jun 27, 08

      The Game

Umm, I believe this about as far as I can throw Fat Joe in the summertime, cause it seems REALLY random:

The Game has ended his long-running feud with former mentor 50 Cent. insisting the “beef” between the two rap rivals is over.

The Los Angeles rap star and his former G-Unit boss have been waging a furious war of words over royalty payments for years.

But The Game insists the feud was never anything that was going to escalate to a level of the East Coast-West Coast battle that ended with Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. losing their lives.

And now the retiring rapper insists he’s happy to end the feud.

He tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, “I ain’t got no beef with 50. All that… was on wax (record).”

“I never shot at him, he never shot at me. Both of us done said a lot. But we’re not Biggie and Pac.”

And, in a shock statement, The Game has actually thanked 50 Cent for helping to give him a start as a rapper.

He adds, “I appreciate homey for helping me on my way up.”

The Game and 50 Cent last attempted to end their war of words in May 2005 when they declared a truce at a press conference, during which they donated $253,500 to the Boys Choir of Harlem, New York.

But the truce lasted less than a month before The Game publicly criticized 50 Cent’s leadership qualities as the head of the G-Unit rap brand. (Source)

Oh yeah, new Game single here featuring Travis Barker called “Dope Boys”. Who does he think he is fooling!?

What’s next, him and Young Buck do a PSA for “We Love 50!” Boy stop.

I Guess They Finally Reached The Crossroads!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jun 17, 08

      Bone Thugs

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are getting back together. ALL of them. But does anyone care? Iono. Call me when The Fat Boys get back together, or when Queen Latifah stops singing and puts out some hot FI-YAH ROFL.

After years of inner-turmoil and label woes, Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have reunited, with all five original group members.

According to founding member Krayzie Bone, the group has made amends with estranged member Bizzy, and when incarcerated group member Flesh is released next month, the group is planning a full return to the rap game.

“Flesh will be home July 10th, he’s supposed to be getting out. Bizzy was at one of last shows in Riverside [California]. We had a good conversation there,” Krayzie Bone revealed. We told people what it was. When everything got right, we was gonna come back together and what we had to do.”

The group’s original line up, which consisted of Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Bizzy Bone and Flesh-n-Bone, changed with Flesh, born Stanley Howse, was sentenced to 11 years in prison, after he threatened another man with a loaded AK-47. (Source)

LOL so they acting like that album they just put out recently never existed? Hmph. When I think of Bone Thugs, all I can think of is Bizzy Bone being on Youtube acting a trip.

My roommate was listening to Bone this weekend (a YT girl) and I gave her the biggest WTF face ever LOL. I haven’t heard ANYONE listen to Bone on purpose in a long time. Not saying they are bad or nothing…but just was kind of random.

      Warren’s Weed Carrier = FAIL

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jun 9, 08

      Warren G

Warren G.’s weed carrier has just seen his life/career flash before his eyes (unless he’s some random cousin or something) as he fails to keep Warren out the car with the nickel bags on board. FAIL.

Warren G has been arrested in Los Angeles on a drug charge after police pulled over the car he was riding in.

Police say the 35-year-old rapper was arrested early yesterday (June 8) after being pulled over for a red light violation. Officer Karen Smith says marijuana was found in the vehicle.

The rapper’s real name is Warren Griffin III. Both he and the driver, Ryan Butler, were booked for investigation of possession of a controlled substance. They each posted $20,000 bail and were released. (Source)

Does Warren have a new single coming out!? I don’t even see how this qualifies as news LOL. I know 2 people this weekend who got pulled over for weed having a tail light out.

Warren, just ride the bus like everyone else who’s broke LOL. Gas is $4.50 in Los Angeles, I’m bout to get on one myself…

He Must Have Found Some Groupie Love And Realized…

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Apr 24, 08

BOB, WE DON’T BELIEVE YOU, YOU NEED MORE PEOPLE.

You know you was gonna marry June Waterbug (ya’ll sure that’s not his mom or auntie?!) until Daddy Diddy came and pimpslapped that bitchassedness out of you LOL. I can hear it now:

Diddy: “N*GGA PLEASE! YOU JUST GOT SOME MONEY, THAT’S ALL SHE WANT!”
Robert: “BUT DIDDY I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE HER!”
Diddy: “SMELL MY FINGER! YES, YOU CAN HAVE THIS EVERY NIGHT. THAT’S EAU DE CASSIE RIGHT THERE. THAT GOOD ISH! DON’T PASS THAT UP FROM SOME MOOKAMOUF CHICKENHEAD BAWK BAWK AFTER MY…I MEAN, YOUR MONEY!”
Robert: “YEAH…YOU RIGHT! GO GET ME CHERI DENNIS! WHAT WAS I THINKING!? GOOD LOOK DIDDY!”

Look at the rest of them, they don’t even believe him!

Robert, I feel your nose is growing…longer than Diddy’s child support bill…what about THIS!?:

WHO ELSE’S ASHY FINGER IS THAT!? I rest my case.

Can I just add that Big Mike, who had slimmed down a bit, is now up to his old tricks!? Put DOWN the Oreo Cakesters from 7-11 Mike!! You getting big again homie. Don’t get on that Bone Crusher workout plan!

She’s No Mandela, But She’s Free: Go Meet Foxy!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Apr 16, 08

      Foxy Brown

I know one thing — I am as tired as Mo’nique running from some vegetables of these reality shows. Am I going to watch it? Probably. Because there is nothing better than after a hard day of HONEST work than sitting down to watch someone be rewarded for acting a mikkey-fikkey fool.

I’d rather watch Barney or The Doodlebops or some ish. Have you watched The Doodlebops? FUNK-AYYYYYY! Jam! OH JAM!

Rapper FOXY BROWN is calling on her fans to give her a rapturous greeting when she leaves New York’s Riker’s Island Prison on Friday (18Apr08).

The star – real name Inga Marchand – has served eight months of a 12-month sentence for violating her probation by manhandling two manicurists.

She will be set free this week and wants fans waving banners and wearing Foxy Brown T-shirts to be waiting for her in the parking lot of the notorious correctional facility.

Marchand plans to capture the scenes on film, to use in her forthcoming reality VH1 TV show, which will show her adjusting to life as a free woman.

She also has a new album, Brooklyn’s Don Diva, due for release on 13 May (08).

Her manager Chaz Williams says, “She’s going to get on top of her career again.” (Source)

I just hope and pray she read some fashion mags from THIS year and leave that atrocious makeup and Wet ‘N Wild membership card under her cot along with her shanks. If Foxy comes out still looking a mess, I will break one of her nails again on purpose she can spit on me and I can put her tail BACK up in there.

Can the females of rap do a fashion inter….actually, you know what. NEVERMIND. Seriously, Fox Boogie isn’t ugly — a makeover would do her wonders. Could you imagine her hood a** on “What Not To Wear”? She’d probably kick Clinton in the balls and throw a heel at Stacey London. *smh*

I’mma make a sign that says “WE THE PEOPLE OF EARTH WELCOME YOU!” and play Akon’s “Locked Up” over my boombox. LOL, think she’ll sign it? How sad is it even that the hoe has to send out a press release asking for folks to come?

Mr. Joe Clark had all of Eastside High outside the jail! ROFL. Let me quit.

The Family That Flops Together Stays Together!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Apr 15, 08

      FICTION?:

I hear that Diddy is going to record another “Diddy & The Bad Boy Family” kind of record. It’ll feature his current stable of artists, which includes songwriter Shannon Jones, rapper Aasim, and any other person who’s been down in the Diddy dungeon keeping his shiny suits polished. Apparently he’ll have outsiders on this joint too, such as Fat Joe, The Game and Busta Rhymes.

      FACT:

      NO ONE CARES.

If this is indeed true, I really won’t care either way. Though, I still think that Danity Kane and Day 26 should have taken the good songs from each of their albums and made one CD, because seperately, neither one of them is good all the way through.

If Diddy could craft a hot single for each act and put it on a CD, he’d essentially be re-doing “Press Play” because Diddy had some hot songs on there…he just ruined most of them BY BEING ON THEM. He just needs to call in folks and “executive produce” it, not rap, not dance, not sing, not ANYTHING in a performance role. Ya heard!

We’ll see what happens. Anything to keep Cassie and Cheri Dennis working…I don’t want to see either one of them bagging my groceries at Wal-Mart again (cause Wal-Mart is the only one making money these days).

I’ll keep my ear to the streets and my eyes toward Sweet Minty Baby Jesus for confirmation on this one!

Dru Hill Should Give Up The Ghost

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Mar 27, 08

      Dru Hill Flyer
Click for full size flyer *snicker*

So remember that video of Woody quitting the group live on the air as they were announcing their reunion? Yeah, I guess he really quit.

What happened to that one dude Scola!? Is he packing groceries at Pic-N-Save with Marlon Jackson? I mean, really…Dru Hill was one of my favorite groups back in the day. But now…I don’t want them to ruin my memories.

I don’t understand why they need a 4th member. If Jazz keep eating the way he do, he could probably be the 4th member too! Nokio…Sisqo…no comment. They need to take a hint from Destiny’s Child and keep on pushing.

Oh well, maybe they will recruit Raz B. and go on tour with TGT. Sponsored by Box Wine Brands & Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion.

That would HOT a** mess! Can someone go and take video PLEASE. Maybe they should bring in Jason the Diva Maker!
