N.E.R.D. Premieres New Song on Jimmy Fallon / “Soldier”

Did anyone else catch this Friday night? In my sickened state I was half awake watching Jimmy Fallon toss out another terrible monologue, and I heard him say N.E.R.D. was performing so I fought sleep to stay awake.

The song is a little unintelligible, but it sounds like standard N.E.R.D. fare. I think at the end I hear Lil’ Wayne?

What do you guys think of this new N.E.R.D. song called “Soldier”? I’m a fan of N.E.R.D., their live show is out of this world. MAD energetic!

OK, I’m back to fighting this viral upper respiratory infection. Pray my strength in the Sweet Minty One!

Video: Common – “Universal Mind Control” Feat. Pharrell

I love this! Is Pharrell wearing a robot helmet or is that CG!? LOL, whatever it is, Hype Williams made it look hot (LOL @ his shoutouts — “Hype TV”). I see Common is changing up his style and while I didn’t like this at first, it grew on me very quickly.

Music IS the universal mind control, I love the subject of this song.

And Common worked in his whole “Zune” partnership too…they not slick.

Anyway, WHEN DOES THIS ALBUM COME OUT!? Between this, “Paper Trail” and Q-Tip’s new joint, I am excited about hip-hop again.

Pharrell’s gonna be a daddy! Hopefully he feeds the child more than they fed him when he was growing up LOL.

PHARRELL Williams is about to become a daddy. The lead singer of N.E.R.D. and Neptunes producer has impregnated a model type he met with friends in Miami this year. The unidentified woman “is very pregnant and travels with him. She hangs out with the backstage crew when he performs,” said a friend. “Pharrell is extremely private and won’t release any details.” A rep declined to comment. (Source)

Did they not give him the “wrap it up!” talk in Ethiopia? LOL. Kidding.

Well, if anyone can afford it, Pharrell can. I’m sure the woman is pretty and juggles his balls well if she’s traveling all over with him. She’s a model hunh? A KANG (King) magazine model or a Vogue Italia model? LOL! I wonder who will weigh more — him, her, or the baby?! Scary.

Mama and Papa both better quit standing in the line for the bathroom!

Video: N.E.R.D – “Spaz”

Here is the video for “Spaz” off of N.E.R.D’s album Seeing Sounds.Â Â This is my favorite song from the album. It has to be one of my top 3 favorite N.E.R.D songs. This video however is just “okay” to me. It doesn’t nearly bring theÂ intensityÂ of seeing this song performed live.

Â I got the pleasure of seeing N.E.R.D at the Glow In The Dark tour this past April and they were way better than I ever expected them to be. When they introduced “Spaz” there was so much energy, so much fun, so much…spazzing! Â Pharrell jumped, hopped and skipped across the stage like aÂ leprechaun on prozacÂ , it was absolutely great!The video gives you the idea that it could have been hype, but to me it just FAILED. Leaves a lot to beÂ desired.Â Coming from N.E.R.D I was expecting something colorful and quirky that didn’t make any sense, something like Kanye West’s closet. TheÂ Zune commercialÂ would have made a better video.Â

Pharrell Covers Paper Magazine

Pharrell — WHY? If it was ANYONE BUT HIM, I’d have to point out the tangeration of this whole scenario. But Pharrell does ish like this everyday.

In other news, Seeing Sounds is actually kind of….GOOD.

Who knew!?

I’mma need him to turn his Barney Bag over to B. Scott immediately though! I can’t and I won’t and I will never be able to, dangit!

I swear that looks like one of the bags my Grandma used to sneak chicken out of Hometown Buffet with. TRUE STORY.

Pharrell Is On PCP With This Chair…

Pharrell has created his own CHAIR. WTF! This looks like some Willy Wonka ish. If that joint starts walking, Sweet Minty Jesus himself will have to come down and catch my soul from running out of my body. Put this chair around an old black grandmother and she might start casting demons out of you!

This is some ish that only rich folk will buy, I mean, REALLY. Kanye West will probably be posting this on his blog LOL! We in a recession!

I guess he is only making a couple of colors and a matching table, and will only sell 4 of them. That wasn’t a joke BTW.

Pharrell is bored LOL.

Video: Teriyaki Boyz – “Zock On” Feat. Pharrell & Busta Rhymes // New N.E.R.D. Song

I’m so confused right now, but um, this is kind of hot. ROFL. I have NO idea what is going on though…but I can get with the beat!

The Teriyaki Boyz (*dead*) are a j-hip hop (Japanese hip-hop)Â group from Tokyo, Japan and apparently have done a lot and are pretty well respected LOL. How did I miss this?! They got stuff produced by Kanye West, Daft Punk, DJ Shadow, Just Blaze…the list goes on. LOL @ their debut album being titled “Beef or Chicken?”

If anyone tells me what “Zock On!” means, I will give you a cookie and a free coupon for a House of Deadwrong backscratcher!

This is kinda hot though LOL, lawd help me…what do you all think of this? Pharrell…well, he’s Pharrell. All drums and sounds (Wherefore art thou oh Chad?!) Busta Rhymes will do anything for a check, we know this. The Teriyaki Boyz are blowing my mind right now though.

Oh yeah, N.E.R.D. has a new song out right now for all you N.E.R.D. fans. I guess they are dropping a new album “soon” but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
