Contradictory Chris Brown…Make It Stop!

I’ve tried to avoid posting as much as I could about this ordeal but this development right here kind of got my blood boiling!

Chris Brown claims in this clip from his soon-to-air Larry King sitdown that “he doesn’t remember” beating Rihanna (or whatever went down in that car), yet he tells People magazine that he was distraught right afterwards and went to his mom?

â€¢ How he felt right after the assault: “I was distraught â€¦ I went to my mom on the same night and told [her] what happened and broke down.” (Source)

So which is it?

Come on man…this is just getting to be a big old fashioned mess. Any new music that he’s been planning on releasing soon just got pushed back another 6 months. He’s reigniting this whole debacle and the debate around it.

Ultimately, people MAY be able to separate the man from the music, but if he keeps making statements, appearing in court and doing interviews, he’s not going to give the public enough time to forget. I know all the people who depend on him for careers (dancers, producers, tour technicians, etc.) are wishing he’d STFU already!

I mean, someone really tell me what the purpose and point of this is. Why remake arguably one of your biggest songs years later when your voice isn’t even up to par!?

I mean, this video is random as hell, what with the dog and the big black woman sitting at the mixing board! There are subtle differences in this version, but I can still tell that the old beige cow, well she ain’t what she used to be.

Sweet Minty Jesus be a Tommy Mattola flashback moment to “Someday” or ODB on a remix.

It makes one wonder why she even bothers. Mimi is so paid she could migrate to the Bahamas forever and open up a surfboard and tanning shop while her husband brings home some Canadian bacon. Cause that hoe is PAID. She should be my hero and retire while I can still hum “Vision of Love” in my head. End on a good note Mimi, and not a high one. Cause you ain’t got it like that no more.

All these young’un’s need to go call Auntie Ree Ree for a lesson in saving your voice after all these years…

What’s next, Whitney remaking “I’m Your Baby Tonight”. Could you imagine the horror?!

My Soul Just Dropped Anchor In The Lord’s House — “Sunday School Musical”

WOW, this is really just ridiculous. “Sunday School Musical”?! Really?!

There are some zesty shenanigans going on in the house of the Lord.

Like some my Twitter fam pointed out, the main “character” definitely looks like there is something amiss going on.

I mean, now, I understand we want family friendly entertainment. I’ve seen the High School Musical movies (DON’T JUDGE ME!) and I don’t feel like Walt Disney was trying to corrupt my virgin soul from the grave. So is all this really necessary!? It ain’t like the movies are like Usher’s “Trading Places” video LOL.

I felt like this was a bootleg “Sister Act 2″ meets “Bibleman” with some kids SUPER covered up being meek and mild for no extra reason. This is nothing more than marketing ploy to capitalize off the success of HSM and I think Disney is going to be suing someone soon LOL.

Why “church” stuff always gotta be so corny!?!?

So I haven’t been doing too much writing on this because I for one think divorce is terrible. However, it has just escalated into pure nignorance with folks fighting, getting bitten and just all kinds of tomfoolery. I couldn’t but immediately think of Madea with that calculator LOL!!

This is what boils my blood when it comes to JesseÂ “That Baby Don’t Look Like Me”Â Jackson, he is the epitome of hypocrisy. Not even a year ago Jesse called for the “burial” of the N-Word. He even called for the ban of hip hop music. Not even a week ago he says that Barack Obama is talking down on black people and threatened toÂ cut his nuts off. Due to tapes that have leaked, we now find out that in the same breath Jesse Jackson called members of his own race “niggas”.

Â The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview where he criticized presidential candidateÂ Barack Obama, Fox News confirmed Wednesday.

The longtime civil rights leader already came under fire this month forÂ crude off-air commentsÂ he made against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation during a taping of a “Fox & Friends” news show.

Someone please send out a text message to Charli Baltimore, she missed her train by 2 minutes. This is what happens when you don’t close out your register at Duane Reade fast enough Charli! You miss all the good ish! Sole’ must not have been paying her dues to the Union either, LOL.

It ain’t quite ladies night, but it sure is close enough. Lady of Rage, Lady Luck, Babs Bunny, and Amil will partner together, led by Ed Lover and Uneek (manager to Babs and Luck), to form F.E.M. (Females Earning Money Movement). The group is working on a mixtape to be released soon hosted by DJ Doo Wop. Rah Digga is scheduled to appear on the project. “This is the perfect time to do a project like this,” Ed Lover said in a statement. “A lot of people have been wondering what happened to the female emcees, well these ladies are about to prove that they are here and they are better than ever. The F.E.M. movement is great for the future of hip-hop.” (Source)

I tried to come up with a funny play on “Females Earning Money” but that ish is already corny and bad enough so I’ll let that one go.

I think out of all of them, I’d STILL thump Lady of Rage’s “Afro Puffs” and maybe Rah Digga’s “Party & Bullshit” version that dropped a while back. That joint was kind of crunk. Other than that, Amil can go back to her shift at Wal-Mart she came from and Babs Bunny can go back to cleaning the glass at the Bad Boy offices with Cheri Dennis! I nominate Lil’ Mo to sing hooks. “The Godmother of R&B/Hip-Hop Soul” or whatever the hell she was calling herself could use the work too. LOL.

I wonder what Khia has to say about this! These chicks coming for your spot Khia! You mad? *(sarcasm)* All these chicks collecting their 15 minutes of fame don’t even add up to an hour — more like 39.67 minutes LOL.

I’m all for female rap, but come on…I was just listening to Queen Latifah’s “U.N.I.T.Y.” until I had flashbacks of her on that Game remix *shudders*

Female rappers = a wrap!? Speak on it! Would you buy this? Who are you real favorite femcees?

Are these rappers really so absorbed in their own worlds that they think that we, their fans, who have NO cash and scraping up change and throwing it in the Coinstar for gas for the Pinto (holla if ya hear me!), want to see them stunting around for 5 minutes in their toys and cribs? Hear me out, I ain’t hating. But you’d think they’d get more sensitive in this day and age to what is going on around them and put out something MEANINGFUL.

And there is nothing more LOL worthy or vomit inducing then seeing Swizz Beatz “Da Birdman!” do push ups with his Tweety Bird chest. Ugh! Where the cash at?!

Negro, YO’ cash is in Mashonda’s pocketbook ROFL. He also is a card carrying member of the “No Dome” club. Put a hat on and cover up that conehead please.

Wasn’t this a Banks track? Ain’t that the “I’m A Hustler” track? Why is he still bothering me with his rapping? I’d rather Swizzy lace a new Beyonce’ track and maybe throw some cash at 50 Cent’s trainer than continue to try and rap. REALLY.

Earl is looking more and more like a poster child for Feed the Children. I’m not saying he’s a crackhead, but he’s…crackish!

Simmons was booked on two counts of endangerment, three counts of criminal speeding, racing on a highway, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license.

According to the DPS, on the night of Jan. 21 a speed camera caught Simmons, at the wheel of a 1966 Chevy Nova II, driving northbound on the freeway at 100 mph. A minute later, the camera at Cactus Road recorded Simmonsâ€™ speed as 114 mph. Less than three minutes later, a third camera snapped Simmons traveling 101 mph.

The posted speed limit is 65 mph, but the cameras are triggered at 76 mph. (Source)

Anyway, back to Earl. Whatever, I vote him and Amy Winehouse duke it out WWE style for the title of “We Just Can’t Anymore”. That trick got arrested AGAIN!

And here I am, working hard and paying taxes and doing the right thing, and I am eating chilli out of can because gas is $50 a gallon. Maybe I should go do some hoodrat stuff and rob a bank “Dead Presidents” style! Anyone want to drive the getaway car? I’ll give you 10%! We in a recession!

Or, on 2nd thought, maybe I could just ask Earl. ROFL! He seems to be experienced!
