If you don’t know who The Trackmasters are, they are the production team who brought the world such hip-hop classics as “Juicy”, “One More Chance”, “If I Ruled The World”…I mean, I’ll even call their work on “Gettin Jiggy With It” “classic” in light of this foolishness…
Elmo and friends are about to get a hip-hop remix. Production duo Poke and Tone are set to unveil an original, six-years-in-the-making children’s TV show, titled Kids Block.
“We used real writers, real rappers,†Tone said, “all the way to the point where the…puppeteers had to take hip-hop dance class to learn how to move the puppets authentically.†(Source)
When did working with Biggie make you a qualified educator? Trackmasters have lost their mind! People breakdancing while mouthing puppets? I can’t. Why do black people need hip-hop puppets? Was Gordon not enough?? Haha!
Kids don’t fully understand rap anyway. I do not understand what your child could possibly learn from watching this show. “The word of the day kids is S-H-A-N-K. Shank. Brought to you by the numbers 1-8-7.”
And 6 years in the making? They could’ve better used that time to actually justify their continued existence in the music biz. Perhaps they will offer Cookie Monster Ja Rule a part time job to supplement his last 6 years of lost income. R-E-A-D-A-B-O-O-K!
