    • Elmo Gets the Ill Street Blues!

Written by FessaJ in Blogs on Aug 18, 09

      elmogang

If you don’t know who The Trackmasters are, they are the production team who brought the world such hip-hop classics as “Juicy”, “One More Chance”, “If I Ruled The World”…I mean, I’ll even call their work on “Gettin Jiggy With It” “classic” in light of this foolishness…

Elmo and friends are about to get a hip-hop remix. Production duo Poke and Tone are set to unveil an original, six-years-in-the-making children’s TV show, titled Kids Block.

“We used real writers, real rappers,” Tone said, “all the way to the point where the…puppeteers had to take hip-hop dance class to learn how to move the puppets authentically.” (Source)

When did working with Biggie make you a qualified educator? Trackmasters have lost their mind!  People breakdancing while mouthing puppets?  I can’t.  Why do black people need hip-hop puppets?  Was Gordon not enough?? Haha!

Kids don’t fully understand rap anyway.  I do not understand what your child could possibly learn from watching this show.  “The word of the day kids is S-H-A-N-K.  Shank.  Brought to you by the numbers 1-8-7.”

And 6 years in the making?  They could’ve better used that time to actually justify their continued existence in the music biz.  Perhaps they will offer Cookie Monster Ja Rule a part time job to supplement his last 6 years of lost income. R-E-A-D-A-B-O-O-K!

Omarosa Turns Her “B*tch” Card In For A Bible!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Aug 14, 09

This recession is making EVERYONE take a 2nd job out in order to keep their heads afloat. Enter Omarosa!

The notorious reality TV “star” has apparently been unable to book another negro-fest on television has decided to follow Jesus and let that little light of hers shine! Well Praise the Lord and pass the Hennesey!

I just hope Juanita Bynum isn’t one of her teachers. Or Pastor Kearney! I don’t want to see her cranking that Bynum on a “Celebrity Big Brother 2012″ or selling prayer cloths and her book on TBN with CeCe Winans either! Maybe the God in her will allow Mary Mary to perform at the commencement LOL!

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, best known for her diva antics on NBC’s hit The Apprentice, is entering an Ohio seminary.

According to the Associated Press, she is slated to begin her ministry studies at United Theological Seminary in Dayton on Monday.

She will spend about two years pursuing a doctor of ministry degree, says Ivan Hicks, the school’s associate dean for African-American studies.

“She has expressed a calling in her life and it is our opportunity to provide leadership and guidance as she makes a transformation,” Hicks says. “We’re excited about her coming to school at UTS.”

He adds that she “has a heart for ministry” after doing work on behalf of the homeless and the poor in Haiti.

Omarosa’s feisty reputation will actually help her as a minister, says Hicks.

“Some of the good things and bad things we’ve done in our lives help us to actually relate and to be more widely accepted as a minister,” he says. (Source)

Well alrighty then. Keep God first! *passes out* You know she’ll be shooting footage for a new show on TVOne or the Gospel Music Channel…

Reh Dogg Needs To Man Up Already + Stop Crying.

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Aug 5, 09

      Oh goodness, please Lord, WHY!?

I know the gifts are without repentance, but seriously, please, take this “gift” back!

I think Kang Lucifer has Reh Dogg on assignment to assassinate my soul. Sweet Minty Jesus be a pair of Beats by Dre earphones with some Kirk Franklin “Brighter Day” in the ears. This right here…

*goes into a corner and cries*

Now if T. Baby puts out a Swizz Beatz remix of “It’s So Cold In The D” I’m moving to Mars.

Someone told me I should give him a chance.

      Sorry!

The treatment itself is interesting, but the song and him singing it and just…everything else…gives me hives! God bless him though!

Is Bow Wow Still Serious?! “So You Mad”? No. Not Really.

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jul 2, 09

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Download “S.Y.M. (So You Mad)” if you really want to here.

OK, I normally don’t care about Bow Weezy, but seriously, dude, NO. We aren’t mad at anything you think you are or got!

And of course, all he talks about in this song is how much kush and purp and dough and how he’s still “Mr. 106 & Park”…you are hanging on by a thread. Didn’t you retire? Are the movie offers not really rolling in like you expected?

I think if there is anyone that should really just chill in the cut right now and figure out a new plan of action, it’s Bow Wow. Shad needs a action plan to keep himself still relevant. Sure, he’s probably resting on his laurels and can eat off residuals for a minute, but making mixtape songs where you are clearly trying to start a new acronym and still peddling the same old wares will get you right where your music belongs — in the recycle bin!

With all the Drake backlash on the web today and just the general decline of mainstream Hip-Hop and the music biz in general, I’m gonna go back to school and be a mechanic. People ALWAYS need their cars fixed! Hell.

Bow Wow just wants us to start a hastag on Twitter. #soyoumad. NO! Michael Jackson died last week, that’s more important than your whole career niglet! Spotted at XXL

Ma$e Is Tired of That Good Tithes Money I Guess…

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jul 1, 09

Mase Remixes Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” (Listen/Download)

Ma$e is coming back ya’ll! After failed attempts being a G-Unit rapper and of course, becoming the next T.D. Jakes, I guess Mase is using MJ’s death as a reason why he wants to try and collect a check from Diddy and/or hit the road to get the hoes.

      I can HONESTLY say, NO.ONE.CARES.

During an interview with DJ Self of New York’s Power 105.1 radio station (WWPR-FM) on Friday (June 26), former Bad Boy artist Mase not only aired a remix to Drake’s “Best I Ever Had,” his first release in five years, but he also said Michael Jackson’s death is what inspired his return to music after an extended hiatus. [I don't believe you, you need more church members!]

“Mike passed away and it just lit the fire in me — it made me go in the studio and do something. I’m excited,” the Harlem-born rapper said. “I asked my nephew who is the hottest thing out there and he said “Drake!’ When I listened to his music I said, ‘I’m going to jump on this joint.’”

When asked if his fans should consider this his official comeback, Mase hinted, “I’ve got things up my sleeves, I just need someone to play them.” He also went on to shout-out former label boss Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, and friends-turned-nemeses-turned-friends-again, rappers Jim Jones and Cam’ron. The acknowledgment led to an on-air phone call from Jones himself, during which he apologized to Mase “for anything I ever did when I was younger. I tip my hat to you. This is monumental and it’s nothing but love.” (Source)

I’mma need his nephew that suggested Drake to be taken out back and flogged! Ugh. What’s next, Ma$e hopping out of bed, turning his Jesus on? Please pass the mic back to Black Rob.

      BK and/or BJ? I Can’t Call It…Offensive or Silly?

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Jun 25, 09

      Burger King Burger Blowjob

ROFL @ the burger being called a 7 incher. The jokes write themselves. PAUSE ALL OVER THIS POST. Maybe I am just living in the gutter these days, but I will admit, this IS a bit bold.

What Looney Bird Johnson has Burger King placed in charge of advertising?

      Ron Jeremy?

Are they trying to have their ads censored?

Fresh off the controversy drummed up from it’s recent “Baby Got Back” commercial, the fast food giant just unveiled a slightly scandalous promo campaign for the new Super Seven Incher sub.

Thick with sexual innuendo and working under the tagline, “It will blow you away,” the ad features a woman opening her mouth wide enough to catch flies as the new Seven Incher heads straight for the back of her throat.

The latest controversial BK ad reads: Fill your desire for something long, juicy and flame-grilled with the NEW BK SUPER SEVEN INCHER. Yearn for more after you taste the mind-blowing burger that comes with a single beef patty, topped with American cheese, crispy onions and the A.1. Thick & Hearty Steak Sauce. (Source)

Especially the “fill your desire” line — REALLY!? I mean, really?!

Americans are FAT and DIRTY LOL.

Ya’ll, this is HILARIOUS. Enjoy this, and let’s collectively TGIF because if I had to make it one more day, I’d be shanking someone!

BTW, if you don’t know and haven’t gotten the text messages (seriously, if I get one more forward…), GNR = gotta nikka rollin’. And this DEFINITELY had ME ROFLMAO! Shouts to @nhycola!

Don’t Wayne’s dreads look dry though? He should do a remix about that.

      Trailer: Marques Houston’s “Boogie Town”

Written by The IPS in Movies on Jun 9, 09

      I. Am. Speechless.

LOL!! OMG I laughed, I cried, I sobbed. *slow claps* Seriously, LOL! Read the synopsis:

BOOGIE TOWN, a modern day West side Story for the hip hop generation [I can't!], takes place in a New York City of the future. There’s no more violence, no more drugs – in their place are illegal dance contests, which occur in the underground world of “Boogie Town.” Micha and Jay, leaders of rival dancing crews, acquire superpowers which take the contests to new levels. Despite the animosity between the two gangs, Micha falls in love with Jay’s beautiful sister Natalie and the two become a future-day Romeo and Juliet. Written by Anonymous.

Modern day West Side Story? Umm, this looks like a reboot of The Last Dragon meets You Got Served. Chris Stokes ROFL, you get a fail.

Instead of the “glow”, they got the “energy”?! So the energy is wearing colored contacts?

Please page Allah, CC Moses, Skytel page Jesus, text Buddha and email Mohammed because I know one of them will accept my murked soul! And how about Martin Kendall from The Cosby Show (real name Joseph C. Phillips) is in the movie!! AHAHAHA!!!

Boogie Town hits theatres this month apparently…Marques Houston, you career has officially been served…up to the dogs! But the dancing looks hot, shouts to all the dancers who are working hard in this flick.

The Internets Is Requiring My Soul Today…

Written by The IPS in Blogs on May 18, 09

BUT THEY CAN’T HAVE IT!! I will not give up the ghost that easily!

Peep this two pieces of soul-stealing tomfoolery that I was sent today on the Internet. Excuse me while I go get my Pastor Kearney Prayer Cloth and my Juanita “Crank That Bynum” party jams CD and find a nice prayer closet.

      KFC's latest deal!Courtesy of @kidfury

I highly doubt there is a boyfriend #1, much less a “Boyfriend #2″. I don’t think this is what young Pleasure P imagined when he was in the booth.

I’m sure it smells like corn chips, fishsticks and infection all up and through that piece. Look at the house though! I mean, clean up before you make videos twerking your hamhocks for the world to see!

I’m even more mad about the sparkly pants. Yeast infections for everyone!
