Ice Cube does a strange mixture of the Old West with the new West Coast in the video for his first single from his new album “I Rep That West”. His new album I Am The West will be out July 13th.
I’m sorry, seeing Cube in that sombrero and matching poncho just took me OUTTA HERE. ROFL! I laughed the whole video. And did he have on a bedazzled t-shirt in Lakers colors with the name of the song on it as well?

It’s still sacrilegious. Sweet Minty Jesus, this is what happens when you mix too much “God in Me” with a little BET and a side of MTV “Unplugged” featuring Trey Songz…I’m still speechless about that one.
So, Fox’s “Glee” is officially my favorite show of the fall season so far. I mean, I waited all summer and it didn’t disappoint. But the best thing about this show is their web presence and their video promos. SO GOOD. The talented cast are all hilarious and singers in their own right pretty much.
One of Twitter peeps sent me this latest promo of the resident “kid” on the show getting his Beyonce‘ on. I tell you, I fell out. Peep his Bobby Jones special edition glove as well.

You know what…I wrote up something about the VMA’s. Watched it and everything. But really, outside of Kanye acting like Kanye, Lady GaGa bleeding from various orifices, P!nk auditioning for Cirque De Soleil and Beyonce’ acting like she told Jay-Z to “marry me or I’m gone!” (oh and letting Taylor get her speech in), it was pretty run of the mill.
Highlights: Wale had on a bowtie from the Chris Brown Collection, Lady GaGa wore some CARAZAY outfits, Rihanna was absent, Pink threw shade to Kanye for his Taylor Swift diss…but the highlight of the night was Lil’ Mama hopping on the stage and turning her STAN on. OMG. Jay even motioned and told her to get off stage, and said “she was t-paining right now” in the mic…*smh*.
As a result, she’s become the joke of Twitter and even is a trending topic. People, in the latest most hilarious twist of fate, have been photoshopping her into pictures.
She has since issued an apology, (as has Kanye, TWICE) but it doesn’t detract from the fact that she straight up was a coon for hopping on stage!

Now, I respect Dick Gregory as the legend and whatnot that he is; but with his Moses game proper the way that it is, he might want to reconsider this!
Dick Gregory, long-time friend of the late Michael Jackson, announced Thursday that he will, “go on a fast on water only for 40 days until the truth is uncovered about the sudden death of Michael Jackson.”
“It’s hard on folks to lose a loved one, especially someone so young as Michael,” Gregory said in a statement. “All I pray for now is that the truth will be told about what happened and I don’t think it has been yet but people deserve to know.”
Gregory added: “There’s so much that has been kept secret under the pretense of what they call an ‘ongoing investigation.’”
The activist-comedian vowed to continue a daily prayer vigil and invited all those who loved the King of Pop to join him in prayer and meditation for the truth to come out. (Source)
