“Single Ladies” Has Jumped The Shark!

So, Fox’s “Glee” is officially my favorite show of the fall season so far. I mean, I waited all summer and it didn’t disappoint. But the best thing about this show is their web presence and their video promos. SO GOOD. The talented cast are all hilarious and singers in their own right pretty much.

One of Twitter peeps sent me this latest promo of the resident “kid” on the show getting his Beyonce‘ on. I tell you, I fell out. Peep his Bobby Jones special edition glove as well.

If you missed out on “Glee” please be sure to check for it on Fox! Last week there was New Jack Swing a capella performance…*tears*.

Lil’ Mama: Coming To Invade A Picture Near You (Gallery)

You know what…I wrote up something about the VMA’s. Watched it and everything. But really, outside of Kanye acting like Kanye, Lady GaGa bleeding from various orifices, P!nk auditioning for Cirque De Soleil and Beyonce’ acting like she told Jay-Z to “marry me or I’m gone!” (oh and letting Taylor get her speech in), it was pretty run of the mill.

Highlights: Wale had on a bowtie from the Chris Brown Collection, Lady GaGa wore some CARAZAY outfits, Rihanna was absent, Pink threw shade to Kanye for his Taylor Swift diss…but the highlight of the night was Lil’ Mama hopping on the stage and turning her STAN on. OMG. Jay even motioned and told her to get off stage, and said “she was t-paining right now” in the mic…*smh*.

As a result, she’s become the joke of Twitter and even is a trending topic. People, in the latest most hilarious twist of fate, have been photoshopping her into pictures.

She has since issued an apology, (as has Kanye, TWICE) but it doesn’t detract from the fact that she straight up was a coon for hopping on stage!

Ron Artest: American Idol!

First came his tribute to MJ — (com.e.dy!) and now someone snapped vid of Ron Artest singing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”.

Eat your heart out William Hung! Does he still have a record label? I remember he signed that tepid girl group Allure a while back. Then he freaked out and had his incident and they disappeared. Iono.

In any case, I think he should do a real record and now since Kobe’s on his team, you know, they do a remix. Kobe can rap. They can call Tyra to get her on the hook. SOLID GOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!

I remember when Tyra was just a “model” and now she’s winning Daytime Emmy’s and stuff. How time flies.

At least he can say though “I’m STILL not as crazy as Stephon Marbury”. True story.

Michael Jackson Is Dead; Dick Gregory Is Going To Join Him.

Now, I respect Dick Gregory as the legend and whatnot that he is; but with his Moses game proper the way that it is, he might want to reconsider this!

Dick Gregory, long-time friend of the late Michael Jackson, announced Thursday that he will, “go on a fast on water only for 40 days until the truth is uncovered about the sudden death of Michael Jackson.”

“It’s hard on folks to lose a loved one, especially someone so young as Michael,” Gregory said in a statement. “All I pray for now is that the truth will be told about what happened and I don’t think it has been yet but people deserve to know.”

Gregory added: “There’s so much that has been kept secret under the pretense of what they call an ‘ongoing investigation.’”

The activist-comedian vowed to continue a daily prayer vigil and invited all those who loved the King of Pop to join him in prayer and meditation for the truth to come out. (Source)

Dick gonna collapse into a pile of dust, what with global warming and Jermaine Jackson’s hair products using up all the ozone.

Dude is 79; who’s gonna save his soul now? He better include Sweet Minty Jesus in that prayer vigil, call Pastor Kearney for a “pwersonal pwrayer pwackage” and call it done!

Photog and blogger FreddyO is always out amongst the nignorant celebs and dilettantes of Atlanta and he caught our favorite, Frankie.

You might want to put on headphones if you are at work. Please watch the clip as Frankie gets her cougar on for a white boy, slaps Freddy O, and even slaps a dog.

LOL, besides Lady GaGa tooting her booty up for Ellen Degeneres while playing a piano (really?!), I was EVEN MORE amused at 3:10. Please feel free to fast forward to that. You will share the “WTF” face with me LOL.

Just when I thought I was starting to like her LOL, she pulls some shenanigans like that. That run/wail/hog call was just inexcusable!

But, I will give it up to her, she was singing live. She just miscalculated with THAT one.

Check out the dope Pete Rock Remix of “Poker Face” though. It will make you feel a little less guilty for liking the song, I swear.

The tasty bird makes folks riot and act a general nignorant fool. How screaming at the SPEAKER when no one is THERE is going to make things better? Go home and make a salad!

LOL what’s the difference?! Jesus be a veggie platter w/ some light ranch sauce and some medicine for these high blood pressures.

Video: Lionel Richie – “Just Go” Feat. Akon

I’m probably the only soul in all of blogdom who would post this…but goodness.

It’s rare that I can’t make it through a video! But this Lionel Richie, copacabana, elevator music schlock just hurt my soul. He stopped dancing on the ceiling to start dancing with the Devil and Akon.

WHY THE HELL does LIONEL RICHIE need AKON!? It’s a sad state of affairs. And for Akon to belabor him with this lame “bossa-nova” preset Casio track just makes it even more worse. I will give Akon his kudos as a producer. Singer? No! WHY do people call him like he got the bomb a** hooks! It just makes me so mad.

They brought out LaMike aka Evan Ross for this video too but even his light-skinned power couldn’t save this.

Excuse me while I click the red X and go listen to “Hello” and some old Commodores. I’m sure Lionel will be popping up on American Idol this season too. Or Cribs. Or Ray J’s show. Catdaddy got a new album to shill apparently! Just go alright — back to the studio. With Ne-Yo. Or Ryan Leslie. Or…anyone else!
