Hark The Return of Sisqo From The Brink of Irrelevancy!

Sisqo has signed on to the latest edition of the UK’s “Celebrity Big Brother 2010″. So, I am guessing that reunion effort and their reality show on Peachtree.tv in ATL yielded no results?

I mean, say what you want, but Sisqo used to be a beast vocally. I see how he handily worked his way around all the money notes in this performance, but shoot, he was the Chris Brown and all them of our time. And I don’t care if you judge me, Sisqo went in on “Incomplete”. That song was hot and one of my favorite songs of the 90’s. I promise you that!

But this reality show mess — anything for a check. His performance was a bit rusty and wow, was he doing “The Jerk”?! OR, was that his same old choreography and it was the jerk back then!? So many questions!

And was his hair still blond or was he bald? It was hard to tell…

Oh well, nikkas gotta eat. And we need something to watch on TV. LOL! Still, overall, I CANNOT.

Brian McKnight…Interviews Brian McKnight.

On random occasions I have flipped past Brian McKnight’s syndicated talk show called, what else, The Brian McKnight Show, and I’ve never really been too impressed with it to stop and watch it.

So lo and behold tonight where I flip past AGAIN and see Brian McKnight interviewing….HIMSELF.

I kid you not. How d-baggish is this? And not only was he interviewing himself and speaking in the 3rd person about himself (2nd, 3rd, I don’t know!), but this mofo also had on sunglasses inside.

Please call Derek Blanks to put that double-ego in a picture and to pop that head and let some of that hot air out BECAUSE I CANNOT ROFL!

Wow, ya’ll please go buy his album so we can get him off TV…at least he ain’t Mo’Nique screaming “BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!” *smh*

“Single Ladies” Has Jumped The Shark!

So, Fox’s “Glee” is officially my favorite show of the fall season so far. I mean, I waited all summer and it didn’t disappoint. But the best thing about this show is their web presence and their video promos. SO GOOD. The talented cast are all hilarious and singers in their own right pretty much.

One of Twitter peeps sent me this latest promo of the resident “kid” on the show getting his Beyonce‘ on. I tell you, I fell out. Peep his Bobby Jones special edition glove as well.

If you missed out on “Glee” please be sure to check for it on Fox! Last week there was New Jack Swing a capella performance…*tears*.

Excuse me while I go turn on some Jadakiss now to cleanse my soul!

Contradictory Chris Brown…Make It Stop!

I’ve tried to avoid posting as much as I could about this ordeal but this development right here kind of got my blood boiling!

Chris Brown claims in this clip from his soon-to-air Larry King sitdown that “he doesn’t remember” beating Rihanna (or whatever went down in that car), yet he tells People magazine that he was distraught right afterwards and went to his mom?

â€¢ How he felt right after the assault: “I was distraught â€¦ I went to my mom on the same night and told [her] what happened and broke down.” (Source)

So which is it?

Come on man…this is just getting to be a big old fashioned mess. Any new music that he’s been planning on releasing soon just got pushed back another 6 months. He’s reigniting this whole debacle and the debate around it.

Ultimately, people MAY be able to separate the man from the music, but if he keeps making statements, appearing in court and doing interviews, he’s not going to give the public enough time to forget. I know all the people who depend on him for careers (dancers, producers, tour technicians, etc.) are wishing he’d STFU already!

Pretty Ricky Is Still Making Records Though!?

Imagine my surprise as I return from vacation and see the Internet buzzing about some Pretty Ricky video. I’m thinking, “who let them boys out of their broom closet to make some more ‘music’?!” Imagine my surprise when it’s just the light-skinned Spectacular one grinding with himself & his guardian angel in his little sister’s starter panties!

What!? REALLY!?

I made it about 30 seconds past the intro and promptly had to go scrub my soul.

Who ever would think this was ok?! They got a new single…wamp. Nobody cares. Grind contest? What? Since when did Bow Wow start grinding? Does he know something we don’t?

And why is there a dude in the group named Lingerie?! He must change his name immediately after this fiasco.

If this ain’t zesty, I’ll pay you a quarter! Spring chicken lookin, paint lickin, paste eating, anemic braid having, zesty lookin boy LOL. I CANNOT!

+ I don’t care how many rappers they switch out on this “Turnin’ Me On” song, it still is lackluster and I am so sad that Keri is becoming a 1st rate female pop/R&B artist. She is too talented. Save this ish for Ciara. Though T.I.’s verse is way better than Lil’ Wayne’s, but ya’ll know how I feel about the self-proclaimed Pussy Monster. Lawd. (Download + Listen Here)

+ I heard this Z Ro song on the satellite radio this morning and I actually thought it was kind of hot. He sounds like Bun B with the tone of his voice though. Bun B + Mike Jones with a side of Juvenile because of his cadence. Am I lying? “Top notch hoes get the most not the lesser, trash like to ***k for $40 in the club” — so he basically called out the whole cast of “I Love Ray J” or whatever that mess is right? I know ya’ll watched it last night. Hmph. (Download Here)

OK, I think this is officially the equivalent of walking down Hollywood Blvd. in fishnets and a blonde wig to pay the rent and get a can of Vienna Sausages. This is just NOT RIGHT.

Hawking McNuggets to get 50 more album purchases? Keith, you are better than this. Why doesn’t he just go whine and make a boxset with some new songs or something…I know some 50+ year old women who would throw their panties at him if he came and performed at the local hair salon. True story. Of course, they are all morbidly obese. From eating McNuggets.

This McDonald’s negroidian campaign has gone too far.

John Legend Likes Nut…meg.

I don’t even really watch The Colbert Report, but @MissInfo pointed out today that John Legend has to be zestier than 20 lemon peels swallowed raw, and after seeing this clip, I think I am swaying to her side.

I’m not saying I know for sure, but Sweet Minty Jesus be a top button to cover up that hamburger meat!

And I’m sorry, you couldn’t get me on TV singing a nice little ditty about nutmeg with me having on tight slacks, open shirt and giving Stephen Colbert the side eye over my indoor/outdoor shades. No ma’am, no sir!

I’d at least have to have some fine woman sitting on my lap to sing to, not Stephen Colbert! God bless John’s little minty soul. Save room for some love indeed John. Save room!

Is times that hard? Did those “Boston Public” checks stop!?

His repeated refrain of “ayyy!” throughout the song made me long for the days of Beenie Man and Mya. You know that’s a shame. With that eye of his, he looks like Forest Whitaker, Musiq Soulchild and Robin Thicke had a baby. ROFL, Heavy…Dwight…why? Wasn’t he signed to Bad Boy as a solo artist for a hot minute? I guess nothing came out of that because this song is independent (as if you didn’t know that though…).

May the spirits of Patra, Grace Jones and Barrington Levy visit him this night and give him sweet dreams of the Yard.

I’m done. I HAD nothin’ but love for ya Hev, but I’m keeping it on lockdown now.

Bow Wow Proves He’s A Man, Man!

Since this is a family friendly blog for the most part LOL, you need to make sure you are grown & sexy to peep the video under the jump. And it’s definitely not work safe if you work at anywhere besides the Playboy mansion.

Bow Wow was on last night’s “Entourage” in his much hyped “sex scene” that he talked about like he was about to become a porn star or something. Negro, you just put out a song called “Marco Polo”. FAIL.
