    • Sade’s Coming In Time For Valentine’s Day 2010 With “Soldier of Love”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Nov 25, 09

OH YES, I’m excited. Some folks can’t stand Sade, but I am not one of them LOL. Her new album has been penciled in for February 8th and it’s currently titled Solider of Love. You can also pre-order it right now on Amazon.

Oh, and while you’re over there Amazon, why don’t you get Rihanna’s new album for $.99. Yep, you read that right.

It just baffles me how someone like Rihanna can put out 50-11 albums and still hae to resort to gimmickery and tomfoolery. Sade? Sista drops an album every 10 years ROFL, and still slays. Not saying that people should wait that long, but clearly, it’s quality over quantity in my book — and that also equals LONGEVITY. 2 albums every year = burn out, in more ways than one…

Album Covers: Alicia Keys, Robin Thicke & Lil’ Wayne

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Nov 13, 09

Alicia Keys’ official album cover has dropped and it’s really beautiful, just like she is. She’s come a LONG way visually, let’s not even front. Peacock game proper though! Strutting around like she is the HBIC LOL, Mashonda gonna come for that peacock tail…let me stop.

      The album drops December 13th.

Robin Thicke’s Sex Therapy album drops December 15th, and he’s going balls to the wall for this one. Parental Advisory sticker, sexy looks, groping hands, “Meiple” and everything. Clearly this album will not be for the young ones. He’s embracing his inner dirty thoughts and putting them on record.

Check the classic look though — it looks very LP-ish. “Session”? I see you Robin Thicke. That’s why Paula Patton is pregnant now LOL! Spotted at Rap-Up.

Lil’ Wayne’s rock album, Rebirth, which features him playing guitar and getting his inner rocker on, ALSO drops December 15th. December is going to be a busy month. Why do I get the feeling they took this picture in his house on a day when he had 15 extra minutes?

I’m all for experimentation, but I am not really checking for this oft-delayed joint…

      Album Cover: Chris Brown’s “Graffiti”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Nov 2, 09

      Chris Brown Graffiti Cover

Chris Brown dropped the cover art for his Graffiti album today on Twitter.

I’m loving (air quotes) the leggings. Or are those riding pants? LOL all he needs is a stirrup and a whip. Well, maybe a whip wouldn’t be the best look for him right now…

I don’t get the futurisitic/space theme look, yet there are cartoon monsters and whatnot? He needs to reconcile these two ideas into one cohesive thought.

Chris could burp the ABC’s while spinning on his head and his fans would still buy it, so oh well. But this outfit is just doing the most and not in a good way LOL. He looks like he’s about to vogue and twirk on the Moon. Ay dios mio!

Album drops Dec. 15th though — the video for “Crawl” should be dropping soon.

Please, share your $.02. I can’t wait to hear it LOL!!

      Album Covers: Timbaland + Rihanna

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Oct 27, 09

Why do I feel like they just put Timothy’s face on the cover and none of his body and whatnot because he’s supposedly gained so much weight? Getting married’ll do that to ya.

*insert bad joke about her covering up a black eye here*

Both albums are out Nov. 23rd…November is gonna be a busy music month, that’s for sure.

Cover Art: Wale’s “Pretty Girls” Cover Is Chocotastic!

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Oct 23, 09

The official cover to Wale’s hit song “Pretty Girls” has come out and I must say, I’m loving it HAHAHA.

“Ugly girls be quiet! Pretty girls clap clap like this!” — that line gets me everytime!

Who’s donk is better though? Happy Halloween BTW if you click that link — might not be safe for work ROFL!

There’s a commercial for his new album which drops Nov. 10th too:

      Album Covers: Angie Stone’s “Unexpected”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Oct 20, 09

Angie Stone’s latest record Unexpected is out November 24th and is preceded by the previously posted single “I Ain’t Hearin’ U”.

LOL this cover is a mess to me though…I don’t know. I know she’s doing new things and what not…and she looks great…but I have a feeling there were better shots that they could’ve used.

The metallic looking dress is just not flattering! It’s “unexpected” indeed, this cover and her looking like that in that dress. Meh! I love Angie though.

“I Ain’t Hearin’ U” has grown on me though — I’m still just upset that there isn’t MORE to the song. The track/instrumental is hot though. Bet.

Album Covers: Leona Lewis’ “Echo” & Ryan Leslie’s “Transition”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Oct 5, 09

      YES PLEASE!

Leona Lewis’ Echo is out November 17th in the US. The first single “Happy” was posted here on Tha Feedback as well as live performance of it on “America’s Got Talent”, so hit the archives for those!

      ryanleslie

Ryan Leslie’s sophomore album Transition is due out November 3rd. LOL this cover seems extra simple, but…so was his last one.

Album Covers: 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Oct 2, 09

50 Cent’s latest album Before I Self Destruct is set to drop November 17th. Do you care?

His album cover however looks like he has a really bad case of eczema ROFL. Black folk know all about that. It really looks just kinda…gross. Like he was in a car accident and got burned and then decided, “LET’S SHOOT THIS SH*T SON!”

      Meh.

Album Covers: Amerie’s ” In Love & War”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Sep 28, 09

Amerie’s latest “album” In Love & War will be out on November 23rd after many numerous delays.

Hopefully the Gods of Delay won’t hit her again, though personally, I could care less LOL.

This album cover looks like a cheap Ed Hardy ad or something. For real? Is she standing in front of Beyonce’s wind turbine? OK, I guess. This just looks like all the budget was spent on flop videos and photoshoots…or is it just me?

      Album Covers: Wale’s “Attention Deficit”

Written by The IPS in Blogs on Sep 4, 09

Wale’s debut album Attention Deficit is dropping October 20th! This cover is dope and I’m actually kind of looking forward to his album, though I am not sure why. I think “Pretty Girls” and his collabs with Colin Munroe have got me looking forward to what he’s going to do. Oh and that “My Sweetie (Spray It)” joint goes hard as well.

Who cares about him and Solange, doubt if it is really true.
