Luckily, Trey Songz‘ cameo/duet part seems fleeting in this otherwise pretty standard but efficient Chris Robinson directed video. “Hood Love” is taken from Mary J. Blige’s latest album Stronger With Each Tear, which I must say, I really almost forgot about! This MJB album is not get the usual burn that Mary albums get from me.
There’s nothing super exciting about this video — it’s a pretty literal translation from the song to the video. Fighting, missing thug-types who come home really late and stress their women out. Arguing, police, but no ambalamps.
Mary looks fashionable, Trey looks faux-street, and video is over. What ya’ll think?

You know what’s hood about Mr. Songz? How quickly I will turn it to get to that young piece of man meat.
