Kenna – “Turn” [Listen + Download]
Kenna’s climbing mountains right now for a good cause but he put out this free track on his Myspace while on his journey to drum up some support. You can donate to the cause at the summitonthesummit.com website, and until then, check out this joint.
Kenna flies under the radar, but dude has some great music. He works with the Neptunes, more specifically Chad Hugo (not Pharrell) and his last album was pretty good. I have it — my favorite joint from that is “Loose Wires”. He’s different but I enjoy it. I’m weird like that.

Kenyon Dixon – “Crazy In Love” [Listen & Download]
So I’m following this guy on Twitter from a recommendation from someone else and he put this song up last night and I’ve been listening to it ever since. It has a lot of potential, and he has a voice that is just rich! His style seems a little like PJ Morton but with a better vocal (no sleight to PJ at all!). Some of his runs…phew. I enjoy this and I look forward to hearing more from this emerging talent.

A-Natural – “New Season” [Listen & Download]
A-Natural sent me a mixtape of his to listen to and he has a hot song on there called “Selah” as well. His style is very “Gospop”, influenced by Tonex very heavily as well. However, he leaked this track and it uses the sample from Usher’s latest leak “Little Freak” that was produced by Polow Da Don and flips it into a new joint that is kinda dope. Different and he uses the sample better than Usher. Been on repeat randomly! Stevie Wonder is still probably mad about this sample though LOL. What you think?
That’s all I got for now…going to try and do some more posts like this on the fly of the stuff that is thrown at me that I end up listening to and/or end up liking for some reason. Nothing too formal! Let me know what your thoughts are on some of these joints. It will probably end up being more indie/upcoming artists than mainstream artists.

Kenna is great, red sun sky blue is my favorite song off his last album. i find myself listening to it a lot when i get sick of all the pop/hip hop on the radio.
the kenyon dixon song is good, kinda ryan leslie-esque but i do enjoy it.

Kenyon Dixon – Raw Talent! Voice is Amazing.. And did he write that song? Cuz if so, that’s even more of a plus. I wouldn’t go so far as to say he remind me of ryan leslie because there’s a HUGE difference, he can actually sing, ryan can’t lol just saying. Yea he’s definitely going somewhere though
