Whew, you know what, Teairra Mari really could have had it all. But it’s performances like this and songs like this with special guests like this that just will NOT let her be great!
I don’t know what was more dreadful, her poppin’ them hamhocks on the 1 & 2 towards the end or the singing over the backing track!
And it’s not like she can’t or sounds bad, but this song doesn’t translate well live. She felt swallowed up by the stage too, in my opinion.
I think the “Sponsor” beat is hard though, and I bump this instrumental all the time. But after watching this performance, I’m worried about Teairra Mari’s chances to perform on…BET’s Spring Bling. LOL!
