I actually like AK (prior albums), not this go around. I hate it when people TRY to sound soulful. All the artists mentioned, Laura Izibor, Joss Stone, and Chrisette Michele all fit into the same category-it comes across as contrived, fake soul. Like 1000 vocal inflections in one verse will make it sound "deep" and "soulful." Gargle with some salt water and try again! Yeah, she’s a Keys swagger-jacker.
