LOL me and Butta from SoulBounce were just talking about this joint. Despite it’s sort of “impromptu” theme, the video DOES look kind of low budget — however, for a Gospel video, it’s a lot better than some others I have surely seen in the past.
Mary Mary pads their new secular-radio friendly song with many cameos in their video, ranging from Kanye & his boo to Fonzworth Bentley and producer/husband Warryn Campbell. It has the appearance of being an “event” w/ red carpet but it randomly switches to green screen effects. They could have left that out.
However, I enjoy this song on their album, though I have to say I don’t listen to this Mary Mary album NEARLY as much as I do their old albums. They still sound/look great though! Speaking of looking great, Kierra has lost SO MUCH WEIGHT. Get it mama!! She was too young to be that heavy. I just saw this on the Gospel Music Channel, on which they also played Miley Cyrus’ new song “The Climb” — da hail!? *smh*

I have a problem with Amber Rose being in a gospel video. She is posing naked in the latest Louis Vuitton ad with Kanye, and it is just not a good look for gospel music.
