I always cringe when I see Kevin Rudolf because I feel like Jamie Kennedy (the comedian/actor) is playing a bad joke on us with Lil Wayne in on it, a la Borat LOL.
YOU’VE BEEN PUNKED!
“Let It Rock” was a random jam, but seriously got old after the 5th listen. This song doesn’t pack as NEARLY as much steam as that one, but it’s not bad either. The video is a lil’ mediocre, I’d swear Mr. Rudolf was just strumming along, waiting for Wayne to come in and drop a verse…but he doesn’t.
The random chicks playing the congas? Ok…and Baby? Ok… I know he’s signed to Cash Money but he comes off somewhat as a way to get that YT folk money. Akon is doing it MUCH better with Lady GaGa, Baby/Wayne/Slim need to take notes.
His album has only sold 77K copies. What should he do to make us care?
