WOW, and I love this song so much…I’m majorly let down by this video.
Jordin and/or her team went for a more open concept. I think it’s kinda lame to have her walking through a field…”performing” in a field…in a video for a song about “Battlefield”. So obvious though…
I think the smoke and pyrotechnics were to lead us to believe that part about a “battle”, but overall this video was super lackluster for such a big song. Jordin looks GREAT, I mean, great…but let me quit before S. Jones gets me…*no shots*
Overall, I love this song though still and it has grown even more since I last talked about it LOL. I can’t wait to hear what she brings on her new album, I am hoping big, Kelly Clarkson-esque success for her! Girl got chops and pipes.

I’m tentatively cosigning on that. They should have just went all the way with it and out the obligatory fireball and slow-mo walk away scene in it. The song will probably blow up though; I likes!

The video is okay…could have been better IMO. The song is still on point though! Loves it!

The first half of the video was that obligatory staring at her in various positions for 45 min. That’s the part of the song that bores me anyway.
When the chorus kicks in, her vocal talents shine. The “GET YOUR ARMOUR” bits are nice and stuck in my head. Video is …OK for such a low budget. I never usually like videos this cheap looking. It kinda works.

She looks like she’s being chased by a little cloud at about 1:44, and by the end, it looks like the little cloud got friends, and they teamed up to take over Jordin Sparks.
They won.
This song has fantastic vocals. It’s a shame that her videos are more akin to a Lane Bryant commercial advertising to middle-aged not uber skinny white women, then anything youthful, sexy, or innovative. Just because she’s not a size 2 doesn’t mean we need to throw a moo moo on her and shoot her from the head up.

I do agree that the video falls short. I think that they should have showed us how she actually got to this field. Then I think it would have be and outstanding video instead of just an OK video. The song is great on it’s own. Just maybe they will do the same thing the did with tattoo. We can only hope!

this is the first song i’ve like by jordin and i REALLY like it and she looks gorgeous in the vid. the AI performance was a little shoddy and that’s where i heard it first (but everyone has their bad days). i wish the video could have lived up to the song tho, cuz she kills it on the song.
