Woo hoo more Raphael Saadiq music! Dude is on his 3rd video if I recall correctly and his videos STAY GREAT. One of my favorite albums of last year too, still going strong.
This video is a throwback to the era that the music of his latest album The Way I See It, and he hasn’t disappointed me yet. Patterned off the whole “synchronized swimming” craze of the 60’s and featuring choreography influenced by the renowned Busby Berkeley, this video is sure to be a nice cool treat in your hot summer day.
You know we stan for Raphael around here, and if you haven’t seen him live, it’s a must. This is actually one of my faves that he performs live. I know he’s overseas now, but catch him when he hits your neck of the woods! Real music has been here, just under the radar sadly…
