    • Music Video: LeToya Luckett – “She Ain’t Got”

Written by The IPS in Videos on Jun 30, 09

This is obviously some kind of work print or unfinished version of this video, and I am sure that they are not happy that it’s leaked. However, that being said, it’s still looking like it’s going to be a little underwhelming to me.

I loved LeToya’s first album, and I even liked this song for it’s crossover potential. It’s a more edgy topic and approach for her. I’m not sure everyone likes it as much as I do though. This video…the IDEA looks decent enough, but the execution is lacking. She took it back to her Destiny’s Child days though with the dancing setup and I wasn’t mad about that.

One of my main issues with her is that her face seems to lack the ability to show other emotions LOL. Just check it and see what I mean. However, she’s sexy as all get out, and they know that, so that is what is front and center here.

      What do you think?

ROFL, this is really this final video?! She KNOWS better than this ish. This mess looks like it was film & edited on someone’s iPhone. Just cuz there’s an app for it doesn’t mean you should use it.

        I blame Matthew Knowles.

      4. June 30, 2009 ugh

LOL@J.P.; there is literally an app for EVERYTHING!
cot damn toya! she went a crazy 60’s short film video to this ish?! this looks like ushers yeah video pt.2 with some geisha loving from a chingero woman in green. A SWING AND A MISS FROM TOYA! when i first heard this song i thought up a better video treatment than this ish!
didnt teairra mari do this exact video like a month ago just WAY better plus some glow in the dark go-go tribal dancing and a nivea wig? NEXT! what a shame…

The video doesn’t do the song justice. The song is Rihanna status, yet they didnt treat it like the hit it is. If MJ has showed us anything, its that the video is the brand for the song. With slump in music sales any opportunity to get the public shouldnt be taken lightly.

i love the song, but the video just leaves me wanting more. although i just realized that she’s saying “that ho-oh-oh-oh, she ain’t got shit on me” which makes me love the song even more if possible.
