You know, I hate to say this, but this video LOOKS like the label has given up promoting her latest album Lady Love. Which is sad, because I listen to that album a lot. Letoya got the shaft from Capitol Records with this 2nd album of hers.
That being said, this song knocks. The video looks like…it was knocking on iMovie’s front door, cause it looks cheap, quick and pretty boring. Even Ludacris seems a little listless and in it for a check. I almost thought he looked like one of them “Lean Like A Cholo” extras. I can’t, really! They just said, “You know what…eff effort. Get some of your cousins and we’ll call this a ‘video’ OK? Great!”
Sadly, this video is not going to help her sales I don’t think. I will let you all know that her album was well crafted and had some great songs on it — it’s a very cohesive work in terms of today’s R&B pop tarts. And her singing has gotten a lot better. Too bad the videos haven’t…

It looks fine to me. The song is simple like the video. It’s mostly her showing some attitude, which is just what she does at the performances. If the song hit the top 100 with just the fans helping, then this video will (hopefully) get it even higher. Maybe her label will even start doing they job…

Matty Knowles is getting his way…
I hope he knows “bitter” is not a good look.

This looks SOOOOOO cheap . . .
I thought videos were supposed to “enhance,” rather than take away from the popularity of the song. Luckily, I’d heard the song first. Had I seen this video first, I’d have associated the cheapness of the video with the song itself.
Capitol needs to just close shop on it’s urban division. Faith Evans’ career fell completely flat after she signed with them as well.

I don’t see anything wrong with the video, I’ve seen worse. It’s ridiculous to spend big bucks on videos anyway. the video looks good, Letoya & Luda look good together, they would be a cute couple.

It just looks quickly done and shot cheaply, in terms of video. I think there is a certain level of expectation with a “major label” video shoot, and compared to some of the other videos releasing for other pop artists signed to Capitol Records, this video just looks terrible! Why they do her like that! Prime example: Jaicko, this new child they are pushing. Look up his video. Compare that. Here’s Jaicko’s video…
