India’s last album didn’t particularly move me too much, but her overall body of work is good enough for a few clunkers every now and then. The David LaChapelle directed video dropped kind of quietly I feel like.
India.Arie’s been touring for a while and I had the chance to go check her out while she was in Portland and the show was dope. Though her backup singers Ametria Dock and Chantae Cann are much more the stars of the show, especially that night since India lost her voice. And don’t sleep on her MD, Shannon Sanders! Phew.
She has a powerhouse team backing her. I digress — what you think of the video? LOL. It reminds me of Mary J.’s everything but not really. The Hawaii backdrops are nice, who knew she had a budget for all of that! Go girl! LOL!

i liked the simplicity of the video. it made me like the song a bit more. that guitar was really nice, i want to pick me up one of those.
