Loading ...I really REALLY like this joint. I’ve always been a fan of Chali 2na’s voice, from his stuff that he’s done with Jurassic 5 and even Ozomatli. He kind of reminds me of that old Flipmode rapper Lord Have Mercy.
Talib Kweli of course throws in his contribution and even makes it even better. The beat is simple yet effective, the video reflects that as well. I like the whole interactivity of it and even the repetitiveness of it.
Overall, I’m feeling this joint. I didn’t know Chali 2na HAD a solo album out, so I might have to go cop that. So many artists, not enough fans…
I’m wondering if the directors of this video are getting a lot of work lately? This video style is seeming to be in a lot of videos…gotta do some research on that.
