Melanie Fiona is a fiesty firey musical siren in this clip for her latest single “Bang Bang”. I’m all for it too. One of the more uptempo and exciting joints on her debut album The Bridge, she’s all hair tossing/gun gesturing/limb flailing in this joint. It’s a sexy disaster at that too.
Melanie’s songs tend to run together on her album, but they seem to work really well outside of the context of The Bridge. This song is ready for TV and commercial licensing if you ask me.
The video gives a feel of them being outlaws, what with the lineup shots and all, and then tosses in some sexy shots of Melanie to wit. Not really any correlation, but hey, when all else fails…

I LOVE her voice! This is a cool song and I could definitely see it being used in TV and/or commercials. But I heard that the album wasn’t so great.

Holy snap another grt track from this newcoomer. Keep it coming. I got the album on itunes and haven’t stopped playing it – don’t skip any song. when’t the next album release? Oh, she sooooo beautiful too and she’s grt in her interviews – beauty brains and talent sounds like a winner to me.
