New Moon soundtrack heh? Well, this is very un-hip-hop of Lupe Fiasco. This is more some Linkin Park mashup sounding music, but a check is a check. I’ve not seen this movie, and I’m sure the song corroborates the plot somehow, but as for me and my house, we will take a pass on this one. I’ve been looking forward to new Lupe music but this isn’t QUITE what I expected…
Has anyone seen this movie? Bought the soundtrack? LOL, what ya’ll think?

i saw the movie because my nieces read the books and needed someone to take them ,….. um the books are horribly written and borrows popular themes from many other vamp books but the first movie was so low budget it made the books seem genius. that being said this movie had a whole nother level on the budget so the sepia toned lenses and lighting was good but the script was still horrible i mainly watched it for the werewolf dudes bc they WERE goodlooking but those cheap ass contacts they used in the movie was le horrible
and unlike the last movie theres no ‘decode’ to redeem the movie so unless youre a fan you wont like the movies

I saw the movie at 1 am opening day (don’t judge me). I’ve read all the books. Definitely not well written at all, but it caters to the audience she seems to be trying for…teenagers. The books/movies are nothing but horribly scripted teenage angst deals. But I’m checking for the movies because I’m a cougar for Jacob.
Digressing. I actually like the song. It’s a different feel for Lupe as we know him. Kid Cudi reminds me of him in a way and I could see both of them eventually doing rock-type songs.

I was looking forward to hearing this song after reading it was a sort of Red Hot Chili Pepper feel,I’ma uhge lupe fan and a huge huge fan of the Chili peppers so I thought this would be perfect, but I was really disappointed to hear how much this sounded like “Blood Sugar Sex Magik”. I guess that’s what he was going for, but it just seemed lazy to me.
