You know, I’m sure Kid Cudi’s music is great. Me personally, I’m too much of a happily adjusted person with a cheery outlook on life to really get into it LOL. I feel like he’s the “Debbie Downer of Hip-Hop”. That doesn’t take away from his talent by any means, but it’s just my personal opinion. Pop a Prozac and go play in the sunshine Cudi!
That and then I always feel like I haven’t done enough drugs in my life to enjoy his album either LOL!
“Pursuit of Happiness” is the latest video from his album Man on the Moon: The End of Day, and it features a Drake & Consequence cameo. Video exemplifies that even in a room full of people, Cudi is still lonely, which is of course, the arching theme of his album. He has one friend, who even then is there to just party with him.
After the party is over, he’s still alone. Just drunk and still miserable.
Won’t you be his friend?
He’s already said that his next record will be more of a “playful and fun” vibe. Praise Sweet Minty Jesus! LOL.

hey now, if I want playful and cheerful, I’ll pop in a britney spears record. I want real shit, and that’s what Cudi delivers. Well to me anyway, lol.
He’s not Kurt Cobain, or anything. NOW that’s depressing stuff I can’t stand.
