    • Jennifer Lopez’s Latest Video Not Ready To Come Out The “Oven” Yet

Written by The IPS in Videos on Nov 20, 09

      Overserved and undercooked!

This video really is just an abstract, staccato, writhing wigged out mess of a time.

I would have thought that since no one remotely cared for or seemed interested in this “buzz” single that they wouldn’t have shot a video for it. Pitbull’s usual vigor does nothing for this song either. I think we should actually turn out heads and not look and maybe this will go away?

I like “Louboutins” way more than I like this, but…that’s not saying much. It’s all relative people.

I see that Jennifer Lopez is going for aless dancey vibe this time around. This is definitely not a club track. The video was confusing, what with the repeating shot of Pitbull everytime the chorus came on.

Overall, I’m just….at a loss. I got nothing. *pours out likka for her remixes that were decent w/ Ja Rule days*

“The video was confusing, what with the repeating shot of Pitbull everytime the chorus came on.”

Exactly, and then they reversed it near the end. I like when people try new things, but the overuse of scenes was too much. They could’ve repeated each part of the scene e.g. repeat one girl touching him, then another, then him at least looking at them…

This song does nothing for me. I like Louboutins, but Hooked On You is a classic and MUCH better than the other two put together. I hope she doesn’t flop, but this song isn’t getting the high praise I was expecting.

At the 2:53 point, when the beat changes to what I can only describe as a “Potholes in My Lawn” sound effect, it looks like Lola is lifting her leg to “let one rip.”

When the highlight of your latest video is a fictitious “lolafart,” it’s time to reevaluate that portfolio and start investing in more lucrative endeavors.

When this latest project flops, we may end up seeing this infamous honeymoon sex tape everybody’s talking about—I’m sure it’s worth at least a couple mil. Lola got two babies and Caribbean Pirate to feed!

Wow! A total waste of time.

      4. November 21, 2009 ASmith

Uh… in this age of autotune, nothing should sound like that.

Nothing should look like this either.

Done. I didn’t make it a full 1:00 into this.

      5. November 21, 2009 Rochelle

I really prefer this song to stay and burn in the oven.oh yeah and that Tina Turner wig too. She is another one that is not good at her “talents” pick one acting or singing.i prefer neither just saying lol

      6. November 22, 2009 Meka

wow, i cosign ASmith…I couldn’t get through more than 30 seconds. Actually, lot of folks are flopping nowadays…Mariah, Alicia with her singles/stupid videos, Beyonce’s porno video phone (although her CD did well), and the list goes on and on. Music is on the ventilator, but good R&B is officially dead. J. Lo is neither…I would not categorize her stuff as music or say that she actually sings. No vocoder on the planet can save her…

the funny thing about this vid is how similar it is to that Leave Britney Alone video from that uber ghey Chris Cocker (that’s his name, right?)
