My goodness…Janet Jackson looks so happy and centered and in her element in this video and I am LOVING IT.
I was just saying earlier today as I was talking on my Ustream to some folks that this song has really grown on me. It’s just a fun, catchy dance song that is in the vein of Janet Jackson ‘09 and it perfectly fits. This video shows just that — an effortless Janet smiling, being herself (which is naturally sexy IMO) and showing how it’s done.
The dancing is great, and she looks great. It was a very relaxed yet hype feeling that I got from this video. Like, the dancing was all in sync but slightly dragging to give each dancer a little breadth for individuality.
Janet looks AMAZING. Seriously. All the outfits compliment her but especially the one she’s wearing during the main group choreo scence — smash-status! So basically, I’m loving this. It’s perfect. It all works. Go Janet!

This is the first time about 8 years (since around All For You came out) that I got that old feeling of being excited about a Janet clip. I agree that she looks centered and comfortable being who she is. It’s also pretty sweet that the clip is essentially an homage to Michael without a single picture or word about him. I’m excited to see what’s next for Janet.

The song has grown on me, and I agree with jonz—the “Scream” elements are nicely done without being overbearing.
Took me a while to figure out what this song sounds like, but it finally hit me: Disco Nights (Rock Freak) by GQ. See if you can hear the similarities:

I love this song and I love me some Janet.
The vidjo is wonderful (of course), too.
