Apparently “Monday Morning” was a #1 hit in Switzerland, and someone found a video for it. It hasn’t been released here in the States yet, but it’s probably a safe bet that if they did, it’d be reshot.
It’s a simple piece with shots of Melanie on subways, in her bed, etc. mouthing the words and looking beautiful.
I got to say, her album was a little bit underwhelming to me, but there is no doubt that her voice cannot be denied. If you haven’t heard it, you should be sure to check out our interview with her as well!
Looking good though, and congrats on the Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance on “It Kills Me”!

I like this song…it’s catchy! Both the song and the video have got an 80′s feel to them.
I was a bit (well, more than a bit) disappointed in Melanie’s album too; the material overall was a bit weak. It’s really a shame because she has such a compelling voice….
