    • Day26 – “Truth Is A Lie”

Written by The IPS in Videos on Jun 29, 09

Alright, I think I am giving up LOL. The quality of this video is better than the last few (one or two were viral videos though), but…the L.A. River? Trash? That depressing hue? The “pained” faces? It just gets old quick after the first 30 seconds I feel like. Nothing really interesting either — just them kind of standing around looking like they lost their dogs.

I need to go look up their Soundscan numbers…

Day26…this will probably be the last video, unless Bad Boy is just gonna hit us with the video hee and hope for the best…

Are there any real Day26 fans? What do you all think about the output from this album? Not STANS, fans! Thanks!

WTF is this? seriously this is the best they could come up with for this song? This is one of,if not the best song on the whole cd and they give us them frolicking under a damn bridge? What did Diddy give their budget to Cassie’s hair stylist for that fucked up cut?

      2. June 29, 2009 ugh

frolicking with an Asian woman in white under a bridge and in a tunnel on a rainy day?!? WTF?!

i just remember when they first came out diddy was talking about how this band is the truth and is pure talent, well that is a damn LIE. i think thats how this song came about LOL

i was a fan of day 26’s first album but this second one just seemed like they were trying too hard to be urban and shine on their own individually. “truth is a lie” was the best song on their album and for this video to represent it…HELL NO!

        i prefer this version:
        http://www7.zippyshare.com/v/12150480/file.html

k-young has more personality for the song, i give props to robert and kool-aid lips for their “emotions” on the song lol

looks like the bad boy curse has finally hit day 26. cheri dennis finally will have some company. not long before cassie joins em.

This is one of 4 good songs on their C.D., and I was thoroughly disappointed in the video. Their budget is so bad that they couldn’t afford to all have their own girl, they had to share a Tila Tequila look-alike, that was about to break her ankles in some 4 inch heels. Tell me where she is runnin’ too…. Maybe she’s tryin’ to catch the next Amtrak to be in Cassie’s next video…that bitch has a better budget.

I honestly didn’t think that Day26 was that bad of a group and I actually liked them. I really tried to continue to like them but too many subpar performances has really caused me to tune them out. The song isn’t bad but the video is just blah to me. *SideNote* When is Brian going to let those braids go…he’s too DAMN OLD for them.

I’ve been listening to M.J. and watching his videos all weekend…I ain’t got time for this foolishness. Call me when “Thriller” come back on VH1.
        :(

Well now that he doesn’t have Danity Kane anymore Diddy’s ‘wasting’ it on crappy vids!
