You know, I don’t think we will be able to objectively give D. Woods a fair shake, but let me put my hat on.
OK, back, and this song sucks. And the video is even worse than the song! I commend her for trying to get her solo thang going, but really, I forgot all about her. Now that I think about it, D. Woods and Dawn were my favorites in the group. Dawn has more promise than D. Woods as a solo artist, but I don’t think either of them could really breakthrough without VERY strong and fresh material.
And that’s evident on this song. It looks…I hate to say cheap because we are all on a budget, so let’s just say low-rent LOL. I’m glad she’s chasing her dreams, but her dreams released equals a nightmare for me evidently.
I think she’d benefit from stronger material/A&R and someone that would tell her “NO!!” honestly. Cause they clearly didn’t in the case of this video, the fashions, and heck, even the song! I miss Danity Kane LOL. What ya’ll think? Am I being too hard?

It’s terrible. I don’t mind the budget, but the drugs theme followed by the message FAILED. After the guy dropped pills in the girl’s drink, I was put off. I can’t get down and party after witnessing the start of date rape.
