So yesterday I posted the Adriana Evans video, and mentioned that it was one of a few songs that I always have on repeat. This is one of the other few.
I LOVE this song, one of the SMOOTHEST R&B love songs you have ever heard in your life. Will Downing is one of those unsung R&B singers whose silky-smooth baritone has graced us for many a year but hasn’t really “blown up” per se. But we know some of the best vocalists never “blow up”. Rachelle Ferrell is also one of those singers who by all accounts EVERYONE should know about.
I could go on and on, but you should just check them out. Will Downing has been battling a disease lately, so our prayers go out to him. Rachelle, I’m not sure what she is doing, going to have to look her up! Get familiar!

Wow, didn’t know this Rachelle Ferrell sang R&B back in the day! That lady is one amazing vocalist – her and Karen Clark Sheard are otherworldly to me!
We didn’t get BET in Canada till the 90′S so I’ve never even heard of Will Downing till now.
