Yo, what happened to Vivian Green!?
She had some great songs, looked great, had a powerful voice…I don’t get it. She disappears but Amerie is holding on? LOL! I remember them entering my concious around the same time and I am pretty sure they were both signed to Columbia.
Vivian made it through 2 albums, and this song was taken from her 2nd album which was titled Vivian. I’d heard she’d signed to Koch/E1 so who knows when we can expect new music. Not really a flashback, but I was wondering…

I used to love this song! It’s a shame we got stuck with Amerie :-( You know how I feel about her…. and if you don’t, I’ll tell you! lol
All of Amerie’s songs sound the same to me and there’s not much to her voice. She’s only getting by on her sex appeal (and she’s not even THAT hot, if ya ask me).
But Vivian Green had some nice singles. *off to look for “Emotional Rollercoaster” right now!*

I thoroughly enjoyed Vivian’s first album…the one this track came off of though, it was kind of “meh”…she switched up her sound from a more organic independent soul singer to a polished R&B chick, and I don’t think it worked at all…”Gotta Go” was the cut though.
