Does anyone else remember Marc Nelson? He used to be in Az Yet, and was a founding member of Boyz II Men as well. In the 90′s he had some minor hits, but this song was his biggest hit by far. As of now, the last I heard he was doing chitlin’ circuit plays a la Tyler Perry and the like. He’s also had some success as a songwrtier, writing cuts for Babyface, Brian Culbertson and Brandy too.
I remembered this song randomly and found the video — LOL @ this video. Wow. I know my 90′s video directors well enough to know that Billie Woodruff had to have directed this video. He was a fan of bright colors and futuristic looking sets back then. Is that Gabrielle Union at the end of the clip!?
