I know you are probably giving me the side-eye for this one, but trust me, this SHOULD be a classic! LOL!
I just love this song and latoiya Williams so much, and it just makes me sad that she hasn’t put out a proper album. She still does a feature here and there, but for whatever reason, nothing. She was signed with Snoop at one point, but yeah.
“Fallen Star” showcased her range and vocals. I have an old record of her singing “Somebody, Somewhere” with the Voices of Watts, I think. Her voice just has this unmistakable tone and quality to it. We don’t have many aritsts like this anymore who’s voice in and of itself is so unique.
I almost interviewed her once but we never got it together. Lord please let someone help her to be great!

I would not give the side eye for this. This is one of my all time fav songs. I added her as a friend on myspace so I could catch her when she does shows here in LA. She is great live and this song is still banging.
