Does anyone else remember this joint? This was back when Angie Stone was seemingly everywhere to me. It was taken from Guru’s long line of “Jazzmatazz” records — this song coming from the Volume 3 “Streetsoul” record, which also featured such talents as Erykah Badu, Herbie Hancock and my fave, Amel Larrieux.
After the jump, check out a new Guru video for his song “Lost and Found”, taken from the latest album of his by the same name. It’s extra deep though; heavy subject matter for a Monday.

Ahhhhh!!! IPS you be coming with that old stuff! I had this album like my sophomore year of high school…”Keep Your Worries” was why I bought it (I was in the Angie-mode coming hard off her “Mahogany Soul” album)…loved this album though…Guru was just kinda there for me, but he served his purpose in bringing some of my fav artists to one CD…just like Red Star Sounds (if anyone remembers that):
