Chante’ Moore is one of my favorite female singers, and she flies under the radar way too much. I even liked her and Kenny Lattimore’s 2 duet records that they put out. Her solo album Love The Woman that came out in 2008 wasn’t that great if memory serves correctly. I’m not even sure if I remember listening to it, it was that forgettable.
“Love’s Taken Over” was one of Chante’s biggest hits from her 1992 album Precious and stayed on the charts for a long time, and has been covered by many a smooth jazz artist LOL. It just has that kind of vibe and is definitely one of the chillest songs that you’ll ever hear.
