Review by Stefkes: As we probably all know by now, Beyoncé / Sasha Fierce is going to crank out another video anthology, like she did with the B’Day album. I was kinda thrilled to find out there was going to be another version of the “Ego” video, but unfortunately both disappointed me big time. But on the other hand, I’m really excited to find out what the video for “Video Phone” and “Hello” will look like.
So today the video for “Broken-Hearted Girl” was leaked, and at first I was kinda confused about what she really tried to say with the video. But really if you listen to the lyrics, it starts to make sense; Bé drives her ass up to the beach cuz she needed to do some thinking, about her man and about some drama she had with him. But as she walks along the shores and watches the waves crash on the beach, she remembers the good times she had with her man and that she doesn’t want to be that broken-hearted girl. She gets back in the car, and decides she’s gonna try to make it work.
All in all a simple but elegant video, that is more about the concept than about the glamour, fashion or dance routines.

I really only like the Sasha Fierce tracks. Fuck the rest of that CD. I didn’t really favour a Bey video since Crazy in Love. Then again, I have bad taste; I still have “Smell Yo Dick” on my iPod. Also yay Stefkes.

Lol my personal 2 cts; I’m kinda digging the video. Basically, I already knew I was gonna dig everything that wasn’t the Ego video.
@ C; that’s not entirely true tho… the Beyoncé videos are a bit more obvious story-wise, the Sasha vids are more about symbolism. And if u check the reviews I wrote here on the other Sasha vids, you’ll get what I mean. Even the low-budget Ego has some symbolism..
@Broke Niqua; I’m not gonna speak for the IPS, but as soon as there’s some new interesting vids, expect me to be here to review ‘m =)

see, another song by her i liked that is undone by the video…why so cheap and pointless? why does she have a lacefront with sideburns?!
but seriously, if you’re gonna have 50-11 videos from an album, at least make sure that they are good, decent videos…not these crappy, unimaginative cliches.
she needs to go on her 2yr break and try again cuz its been fail after fail with this album, all around.

I really think that its good to hear some ole school Kanye West vibes, his verse takes me back to the College Dropout album…now that he uses autotune…im thinking…maybe he shouldnt have ever dropped out.
