I feel bad for Amerie. I do. She’s a persistent little “singer” though, ain’t she!? She bounces back from all kinds of flops and this single is not going to help any. Even Fabolous couldn’t keep my attention, visually or aurally in this “More Than Love” clip.
Amerie thinks he (Fabolous) is cheating, hires a private detective because she doesn’t trust him, and her friends are goading her on. Well, lo and behold, Fab was being sneaky because he was buying her a beamer. The end.

106 and Park worthy maybe, but this song was not the best choice. Amerie actually had a nice string of singles her latest album In Love & War. She could have gone with any of the first 5-6 songs. Even the Trey Songz duet/remake “Pretty Brown Eyes” would have been a better choice because Trey is “hot” right now. All we can do is scratch our heads and look at pretty pretty Amerie flail around in faux anger as Fab cheats on her and record sales continue to decline…

I actually don’t hate it . . . it’s one of the songs from her album that I occasionally toss on the ipod . . . I think the beat is sick, and I feel like she’s not screaming at me like she does in most of her other songs.
Even though I didn’t know what the hell was going on in the video half the time, I can’t bring myself to call it a “fail.” I agree that it’s kinda cute.
And I feel horrible for feeling so . . .

I guess it’s just me but I think more so what is a fail is this overall album and the cycle with it, along with the sales. And Amerie was EVERYWHERE for a hot minute!

i found this video GREAT! It had a theme, a story, character and went well with the song. IPS you sound like a hater on amerie. i will admit her heard em all single and video was a bad choice but this is a great single. her cd is pretty solid as an r&b album.
