Novel – “Song Cry II” (Listen & Download)
OK I really enjoy this dude’s music. GIVE HIS ALBUM FREE LABEL! I heard it’s been pushed back again, which I know must be frustrating. And THIS hot song won’t even be given a proper release into the wild since it’s having sampling clearance issues.
Novel’s falsetto cuts through to my soul though. Just enjoying what he brings musically to the table. It just works for him. The talent of Ryan Leslie, but also the vocal chops and hood swagger that give creditibility (and listenability) to his singing and rapping.
