Ginuwine – “Bridge to Love” Feat. Brandy
Shouts to Concrete Loop for this one — Ginuwine has a duet with Brandy, and while I always love Brandy, this duet lacks any real heat or passion. Case in point, please check her duet with John Legend…it had so much feeling and just much more chemistry. I’m glad Ginuwine is coming back out with new music, but I am super ambivalent about it. His singles/leaks so far have just been so-so…what do you think?

Amerie STAY trying to keep herself in the music biz and I really don’t think this will be the song that cements her place in the pantheon of great female artists. It’s just a blatant attempt at that pop/crossover radio money and it really is just SUPER underwhelming. Amerie needs to keep it cute or keep it on mute (shouts to Chingy’s “lover” for that line!).
I slightly appreciated “Why R U” — that actually sounds a bit more classic Amerie than anything she’s put out, because her new “sounds” are a little unbelievable. But the track distracted from her “fair” singing ability and when people like her attempt to strip down and get “emotional” and thangs, it just never ever sounds “great” to me!

I like Amerie in a way, but her voice gets annoying after 2 songs. I can’t listen to an album of her singing.

i like the ginuwine song only because I like anything that has Brandy in it. B-Rocka was flawless in this song while Ginuwine could use better lyrics in his verse….. but i like it overall
Amerie…… remember back in the day when her her music was as good as she looks?

LOVES the Brandy/Ginuwine. Notice how I put her name first? I love anything she does, for the most part.
I want to like Amerie but I need her to try harder. That is all.

I really like Amerie, but I think her voice isn’t the type that can just glide over any type of beat and have the shit be off the charts, she needs to find her niche. She’s good with slow songs, ya’ll should look up “Paint me Over” from the “Because I Love it” album, it was really good IMO
