Some new Brandy has leaked to the nets…she needs to start taking her tapes with her when she leaves the studio, seriously! Someone needs to throw together a bootleg B-Rocka album collection of all her leaks. “Slow Love” is much better than “Tell ‘Em”. “Slow Love” sounds like something that could actually be released, and “Tell ‘Em” sounds like a bonus cut that no one would really care about. Or one she gives away to be on a soundtrack. She sounds good vocally though as usual.

Amerie – “Pretty Brown Eyes” Feat. Trey Songz [Listen + Download]
This song leaked a hot second ago, but I just wasn’t FEELING IT too tough like a lot of other bloggers were. I mean, it flips a classic Mint Condition song. It’s not bad, but two weak-to-fair middling vocalists on a track to me is not my idea of a good time.
However, it’s a lot stronger than a lot of the other songs that Amerie’s put out lately. And honestly, they should hurry this out as a single. A lot of eye candy as Trey Songz and Amerie are both lookers. Good crossover potential. Nice “update” of a classic. It’s light enough that neither of their voices sound bad over the instrumental. So…someone get on that.
Aion Clarke – “Do You Right”
Producer B. Michael Cox put this joint up on his Twitter yesterday and I thought I’d check it out. I’m a fan of most of his work. Apparently, Aion Clarke is the songwriter who used to be known as Voyce Alexander, and he’s of course tossing his hat into the artist ring.
He reminds me of another never released ATL artist Q. Amey. He had this joint I loved called “Forever Girl” — I wonder what happened to him? Anyway, Aion has a great voice. Nothing to set him apart from the crowded field of other R&B singers though. What do ya’ll think?

I’ve been familiar with aion clarke’s work for a while now and i would have to disagree. more than a songwriter singer, he’s also a producer. besides writing songs for rihanna monica day 26 and drake, some of the songs from his personal catalouge cannot even be grouped into the rnb catagory.
