True story, this is probably in my list of Top 10 favorite movies. But Naturi Naughton is in it!? I ain’t mad, she getting that money! 3LW be damned! That movie money is much longer than the music money LOL.
On a real note, I’m not sure how I am feeling about this. I already am not liking this “remix” of the theme song. It lacks the finite pomp and circumstance of the original to me, making it into a cheesy movie-remake version. Wamp! I know somewhere Irene Cara is slicing up a royalty check right now in defiance.
I feel like I have heard NOTHING about this movie outside of the initial buzz…what is this going to be like? How will they connect the classic to the new generation?
I’m surprised they didn’t case Soulja Boy or something to get those “younger fans”. And I can’t even think about Naturi w/o thinking about her turn as Lil Kim and her tittatkes bouncing on Gravy. *throws up*

yuck. so pissed that they would remake this amazing movie into another cheesier “high school musical.” and WAMP to the “fame” song remix. WAMP to naturi singing irene cara’s song JUST LIKE irene cara. can you get some new runs or something? dang!
i wish hollywood would leave the old movies alone, stop being lazy, and higher some writers with original content.
