The film with rehearsal footage of Michael Jackson’s last concert tour is indeed getting released. However, it’ll only be a short run, so you better get ready to deal with all them crazy MJ fans that pass out and will try and do some crazy ish like seeing it every single day of it’s limited run. You know someone will, mark my words!
Sony Pictures and Sony Music are releasing “Michael Jackson: This Is It” for a limited two-week run, and pushing up the film’s opening two days to Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Sony will put the tickets on sale Sept. 27. (Source)
Sony paid $60 million for the film and they are sure to get their money back by limiting this run and making it a sold out event. Should be a nice chunk of change for everyone involved.
I also hear that they are going to put it out on DVD as well.
Me personally I’m not too sure if I want to see this — it may just be a sad reminder of how frail and ginger Michael was. We will see though…what ya’ll think?

Not if Sony is a part of it. I’ll watch it online for free.

I definitely don’t wanna buy into the ppl who are out to make MILLIONS off of Michael, yet didn’t put half of these efforts into what he wanted to do when he was living.
But I wanna see Michael’s concert footage…I mean, I wanted to go to the concerts b4 and after they said it would be in Europe. But I’ll see it on the interweb.
