People is reporting that Nippy’s new album, still untitled at this point, will be dropping on September 1st, as announced by the label.
After a seven-year hiatus, Whitney Houston will release a new album Sept. 1, her record label announced Wednesday.
Houston’s seventh studio album – rumored to be titled Undefeated – will include the Diane Warren-penned “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.”
Photographer Patrick Demarchelier recently worked with the singer for some promotional shots and called the day “fantastic.” “She was so full of life and energy. She moved well and was in such great spirits,” he said. (Source)
I wonder who the engineer was for those sessions, because I AM SURE he has the REAL story on how her voice is sounding these days.
I’m rooting for her and all though, and I want it to be like the old Whitney’s voice, but I just know it’s not going to bed. So…I am going to set my bar pretty low. LOL.
Though that “Like I Never Left” song leaked a while ago w/ Akon wasn’t…THAT bad.

Things change, ppl get old, Soulja Boy is now a musical genious and Whitney might not get a hit off of this album.

^ Girl don’t go too far! Soulja Boy? :(
But yeah… from the sounds of that Grammy performance, her voice is a little below the level it was on during the My Love is Your Love era. That in itself is a miracle, so I suppose we should be grateful.
