ROFL I know I just posted this video, and it got a lot of responses actually, so I thought I’d post up this live performance Shakira had today on “Good Morning America”.
I gotta admit, Shakira is sexy and I can watch her dance any day of the week honestly LOL. I don’t even really care what she is singing about, though her voice always gives away the fact that there is a backing track because of her crazy vibrato/warble thing that she has.
But the dancing…
I lol’ed at the beginning though because they were straight stomping the yard. For real?! HAHA who is her choreographer!?
And then, in the beginning as well when all the background singers were doing Lil’ Wayne’s rap…I can’t. I’d almost her just not even act like she’s singing maybe…but this performance really made me realize how much I kind of like this beat and all the musical influences that it is channeling. I need to DL an instrumental so I can pick out all the styles Timbaland caked into this lil 3 minute song.

I thought the performance was wack actually. I couldn’t tell when she was singing at all and as far as her dancing, boo. I think she’s a far better dancer than this show displays and as far as i’m concerned if your singing in a LIVE performance is basically non-existent you need to kill it dancing and she didn’t to me. Seemed lazy to me.

I can’t stand her anymore. Poor thing, she’s so talented but they have her doing this crap.
Ojos Asi is prolly my favorite song by her, yet ruined when they decided to translate it for the Laundry Service album.
They’ve failed her all along because they figured there’d be no way that latin music could have large success in the US.
