MJB the Queen is taking a turn in Paula Abdul’s now-vacant chair as they continue to tape the shows around the country. She’ll be sitting in during the Atlanta run, after Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, leaves.
Again I say — how they have all these non-singers judging this show? Mary is a step up though, because she’s MARY, but still LOL. You know Mary has good days and bad days. J/K!! I love Mary!
Blige will meet up with Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in Atlanta for auditions. On Friday, the show is wrapping up auditions in Boston, where Victoria Beckham has been filling Paula Abdul’s spot. “The judges and production team have been having a lot of fun with Victoria,†a show source says. “She’s had a great response so far, and has been really warm with the contestants.†(Source)
I hope Mary straight up goes church and gives out that “Church Mother Front Row Missionary” side-eye! OMG, I would seriously tune in just for that. I hate that I still love American Idol after ALL these years…save me.
