Now I've been saying that about Mary (her creative rut) since "The Breakthrough"..."Growing Pains" was painful and "Stronger with Every Tear" will probably be tearful (in a bad way).

Mary needs to take a long (3-4 year) break, and return with a new concept. She has plenty of other talents to explore, why not just give the music a rest until she can get a new theme? This ain't the 70s, artists these days can't release an album a year and maintain creative fire.
