I can’t even think seriously about this song now that ya’ll cracked all them “Try Sleeping With A Married Man” jokes. Seriously. This jawn is ruined FOREVER. And that “Snorelicia” comment still murks me EVERYTIME I think about it…ya’ll so wrong.
But honestly, we are humans and that’s what we think…our most visceral response is usually our most honest one, right?
Anyway, Alicia Keys recorded a bunch of live songs for Yahoo Music!, all of which you can see here, but I snatched this one since it’s the latest single. I’m still not sold on this song, but I can see the appeal it would have for others. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just not that exciting or interesting either. It’s gonna be hard for her to shake these monikers her fans seem to be giving her…

I STAN for AK but I cosign the Snorelicia comment! lol She has officially thrown out the soul in her music. She better get some more inspiration from Prince, Stevie Wonder, and Donnie Hathaway before her next album. I’ll even take Amy Winehouse’s crackhead a–, as least her music makes me FEEL something and isn’t just elevator music. What the hell was she thinking with this new album????
