It’s pretty much the explanation of WHY Queen Latifah released an album that no one really knows about. Seriously.
She also performed “Cue The Rain”, which is one of the better songs from that Persona album of hers, but seriously. Ya’ll she has a song called “My Couch”. Please listen. It will take you into glory, and not in a good way. But “Cue The Rain” is not that bad of a song live, honestly. I see Onitsha getting to the money on the background vocals!
I like the Queen, I do, but I can’t cosign this latest album at all. Sorry.

fast car is a mess of a song. her album could have been better if she didnt use cool & dre to produce the ENTIRE album! half of the songs sound the exact same to me. the album kind of drags on and i FEEL YOU 100% about “My Couch”. L-O-L
listen to the lyrics of cue the rain. im sorry but some of the lines are pretty retarded.
“but like tinkerbell and the story of pan, i got caught up and captain hook is my man” WTF?!

oh, LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! i really like Queen Latifah and have all of her cd’s – from the rap to the elevator music. but i have to agree, this cd here is not the business and this performance was a deep fried mess.
i guess Beauty Shop part 2 willbe coming out soon…
