I like Melanie Fiona, and I’m glad her album has a release date. However, I’m a little tired of this song. She sounds great of course, but live, it’s just kinda boring because it really goes nowhere musically. A little remix, a little “Island” thrown into the mix would have been nice. I mean, you got The Roots!
Her album is dropping September 22nd, but I am not sure if she’s at the “critical mass” level yet where she needs to be. I feel like if she comes out now, it’ll be low on the charts and not enough fanfare or recognition for it to do any good.
She’s no Lady Gaga, I can’t see this one building unless she has a secret single stashed away.
Girl is fine though and I love her pipes! Hope she gets the success she deserves!

living in canada, ive already heard the album and i think this is the best song on the cd. so dont wish for anymore smash singles. she can sing her heart out but…it doesnt appeal to the masses.

I’m surprised if her album does come out in September. Most people still don’t know who she is and I don’t think shes getting the push she needs in America to drop an album. This song is boring though. I prefer Somebody Come Get Me. I wish her the best though.
