Jennifer Hudson brought the original don diva Jennifer Holiday out at her Atlanta stop on April 14th to sing the famous “And I Am Telling You…”. How many people were expecting that? I am sure the kids went crazy in ATL. No wigs fell off, so it was a good show I guess LOL.
I love this song, and I love Jennifer Hudson, but LOL, Jennifer Holiday always sets my soul afire with her theatrics. I mean, SHE GOES IN. Did you hear that deep Baptist preacher breath she took? I thought the Holy Ghost had come into the stage and her and Jennifer were gonna get a church mother shout in!
Has anyone hit up a J. Hud show yet? Her and Beyaki are on tour. I know Stefkes is going to the Beyonce’ show in his neck of the woods and is going to write a review for us…

jennifer holiday sounds like cookie monster at times. i thought there was an exorcism going on with all the gnarling and emotion, but when she took her “deep Baptist preacher breath” i fell out of my chair. that unholy demon was banished from her soul and was never coming back. lawd have mercy!
