Is she rocking the Mary J. Blige braid wig!? IT’S MAKING A COMEBACK!
Our very own Stefkes went to the Beyonce’ show in Rotterdam, Netherlands and he sent over his review of the “I Am…” tour.

Thanks Stefkes! Peep his review after the jump. (The IPS)
A lively band is supporting Miss Fierce in the sold out Ahoy concert hall. 13 women to be exact. Her all female band, as she calls them, is a tribute to women in general. “We need each other when the guys screw up.” But there’s a little side note to that. Part of the band is there just to be part of the show, the brass notes sometimes come from synths and not from the sexy swinging trio. But that doesn’t really matter, it just looks good.
She opens with Crazy In Love. Check the performance vid IPS posted a little earlier, it’s probably the same every night. Beyoncé works the stage like she is a fierce robot, programmed to do the same show once a day. But today, her wig was different. The bun that was on her head tried to make a break for it halfway through the opening number. Pieces started coming off and coming loose, forcing Sasha to strut her stuff backstage to get her damn wig fixed. That was one of the things I was disappointed in; the bitch can fall off a flight of stairs in Orlando and still sing her lines like nothing ever happened, but she can’t quietly sing Naughty Girl backstage while the stylists are putting her wig back together.
Anyway, back to the show. It’s all about the show tonight, about tight choreography, crazy suits created by Thierry Mugler. But – and in this part we know – Beyoncé shines brighter than Britney or Madonna, Bé sangs! And she sings spectacularly well. During the craziest dances with her latex-clad dancers, Beyoncé still hits the highest notes with perfect vibrato and sings the soulful tracks with the most perfect timing. During the ballads, she was moving like a powerful born-from-gospel R&B singer should be. She was fierce and feisty in the uptempo tracks.
Downsides? The show itself. There’s no storyline, no difference between Beyoncé ballads and Sasha Fierce songs, all the songs seem to be put together as if your iPod’s on shuffle. There are fragments of other people’s songs mixed in her own tracks, there are medleys of her older work, and something extra confusing that’s called her Alter Ego. All in all it’s a bit too confusing, and a bit too much.
As a vocalist, Beyoncé is like a small miracle and very much worth the money. However, there are still some kinks in the ‘show’ part of Sasha Fierce Live that need to be worked on, to get this robotic beast to run smoothly.
